Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted that the rape of Palestinian detainees by Israeli soldiers at Sde Teiman caused “enormous damage to the image of the State of Israel and the Israeli army,” describing it as “perhaps the most severe propaganda attack Israel has faced since its establishment.” He called for an independent investigation into the case.
Meanwhile, the perpetrators appeared masked in a photo released today, as public outrage in Israel focused on the leak of the videos rather than the crime itself.

Interesting tidbit: Despite the D.C. Council rejecting @MayorBowser's attempt to repeal the city's sanctuary city law (which limits local cooperation on federal immigration enforcement) over the summer, she pitched the idea to lawmakers again last month.
