We will be patrolling all weekend. Hopefully we won’t meet! Anything can happen on a trip out which can divert NHS resources away from those seriously ill, or require assistance of breakdown / Highway agency or Police services bringing you into contact unnecessarily #3241
We know the weather is set to improve this weekend.
However it is vital to continue to follow social distancing advice to save lives.
DO NOT:
❌ travel to beaches
❌ visit national parks
❌ hold picnics
Only leave your home for essentials, work or exercise.

Can we NHS worker please spare a thought for the equally essential social care workers? Unsung heroes with a lower profile and less protective equipment than us. Without them the hospitals will be full quicker than ever. Time for a co-ordinated clap for them??

Help stop the spread of Coronavirus - stay at home, protect the NHS & save lives. Our priority is to keep the public and our staff safe and sadly this means that we have to ask people not to travel to the Forest. Stay local, stay safe.

Pigs on pannage, close to @LittleCottageNF beware of them at the side of the roads eating acorns - the darker ones can be hard to see. Please drive carefully. Also came across pigs in a post-prandial doze in an adjacent wooded area.

And this is one reason why: pigs on pannage in 30mph zone. This is a big porker - collide with her & she dies, but at ~200kg there's significant impact & damage, maybe car skids off wet road... By the way there are two pigs in this photo - one black pig in deep shadow top left.
