The Cousin lab are hiring!! We need someone to investigate presynaptic dysfunction in preclinical models of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Research will be focussed on the link between activity-dependent bulk endocytosis and monogenic neurodevelopmental disorders in vivo.

Unfortunately this is a market driven force and not a scientific one. Although not what we envisioned 10-15 years ago the SMA community remains committed. I know no group of more dedicated researchers and advocacy groups. Lots of exciting research ongoing and the bench is deep.
