IMPORTANT PSA: I'm told that Fox's Donut Den — home of the best apple fritters — is celebrating their 50th anniversary on Friday and is rolling back prices to 1973 levels for one day only. Do with this information what you wish.

A somber day today. 45 years ago Elvis Presley died in Memphis. As a music reporter for the Nashville Banner I was there a few hours later, covering all aspects of his death. I stood beside his casket the next afternoon. Unreal and very emotional 4 days. He will have no equal.

You can get BOGO free item at Kroger also by only buying one and getting it at half the price. But good to know about Kroger. I also mostly go to Kroger and have my prescriptions there to get gas savings, which is especially coming in handy right now too.
