California’s socialist policies have delivered predictable results: rampant crime, fleeing businesses and crushed economic opportunity.
Meanwhile, Tennessee is booming because we put families, public safety, and prosperity first.
@spencerpratt - CA is lost but we’d love to have you in Tennessee! The American Dream is still here.
Tonight at parent night my 9th grade son’s geometry teacher said that she uploaded last year’s midterm in ChatGPT and it scored a 40%. Some of that, sure, was to let them know they need to learn to think and reason for themselves, but some of it is a reminder these are language models.

Dolly Parton’s commitment to early childhood reading has inspired millions in Tennessee. We are honoring her legacy by preserving the Imagination Library.
Today, @SenBoWatson and I announced for the state to fund 100% of the imagination library. This follows investing an additional $4.5 billion in state dollars in k-12, and $200 million in TN Accelerating Literacy and Learning Corps which has lead TN to be ranked 18th in k-12 education and 4th for reading proficiency growth!

It is Friday, and I have spent this week trying to find the words.
White. Blonde. Jew. came into the world this week, and because of you, it became a #1 New Release and a Bestseller. But what moves me most are the people who remind me why I had to write it.
This morning, I received an email I’m sharing here.
A son of a Holocaust survivor. A man whose family was murdered. A 71-year-old soul who was a former combat soldier in the IDF. And yet, his words were not only about the past. They were about the present - and the fight we are still in.
That is my why.
Because hate movements reemerge when we fail to learn from history. Because hate is here, moving in plain sight, and we have to be brave enough to see it for what it is. This book was written for those courageous enough to have the conversation. And over the past few weeks, you have helped make sure those conversations can no longer be ignored.
Jewish creatives - authors, artists, and musicians - we are not the ones at the forefront of foreign policy. But when our work hits the shelves, we are often among the first to feel the organized pressure campaigns targeting our proud Jewish voices.
No more.
Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing, and, most of all, thank you for being courageous enough to join the conversation.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Shabbat Shalom ✨

We’re blown away y’all. Just absolutely floored by the power and goodness of God.
Last Wednesday morning, Katie and I were pulled from Cal’s ER room into another room, joined only by the doctor and a chaplain.
Cal had a brain tumor. A large one.
Today, less than one week after all that, Cal Coleman was discharged from Le Bonheur Children’s hospital. The tumor is completely removed, the preliminary pathology report is promising for avoiding chemo (we’ll find out for sure in the coming days) and this kid is getting stronger by the minute!
We’ll hang out at Le Bonheur’s FedExFamilyHouse for an evening just to transition back to real life (pictured is our Iron Man claiming his non-hospital bed), but Cal should be sleeping in his own bed Wednesday.
Absolutely incredible. Miraculous even.
Our journey isn’t done. Still some strength, coordination and vision to fully restore - all of which is progressing. And almost assuredly gonna have a few more Memphis trips in the weeks ahead for some level of treatment at St Jude to make sure we put a definitive end to this chapter.
But wow, y’all. I won’t pretend to know the mind of God. His ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. But it sure feels like God has used this to drill even deeper into our family that he is sovereign, he is able to do all things and he is so very good.
He’s got something big in store for Cal. And I’m pretty sure now I know our boy is strong enough to handle absolutely anything.
I’ll keep saying it for the rest of my life, but thank you all for the prayers for Cal and please continue them - for his sight, strength and all to fully return and for patience during the process. Also, for confirmed positive news on the pathology report and perseverance for whatever treatment it leads to.
One last thing. As I write this, another boy just a few years older than Cal is on an operating table at Le Bonheur. We got to know the family a little over the last couple days as they were in the room next to us. (Dad is a State grad, too!)
This young boy also has a brain tumor and is under the same skilled surgeon God used to help us.
Please lift him up in prayer as well, that he might be fully restored to health and God would get even more glory!!

Through 3 days of early voting in TN, 122k+ ballots are in, under 3% of registered voters. In 2-party terms the electorate is 67% GOP / 33% Dem. GOP turnout is running 50% ahead of 2022 and 20% ahead of 2018 but the Dem share is slightly up at this point.

Mayor O'Connell and the Metro Council keep misleading you on why your property tax bill jumped. O'Connell's budget needed more revenue, so the Council voted for a rate hike that he's since branded "the lowest in Metro's history." So we built a @realpamphleteer tool that shows exactly where your increase came from.
Below is the much-publicized Acme Feed & Seed bill. Most of the jump is appraisal-driven, but the Council's rate hike alone tacked on an extra $118K.
You can try it on any property in Davidson County.
