The most annoying part of academic writing is knowing the thing, but looking for some other paper to say it for you. You can't just say bread is soft, you have to say it according to Baker (2001) that bread is soft.
At the same time, you can't quote Baker 2001 because it's outdated. Although bread did not stop being soft, you have to find another Baker who said it in 2023.

This New York based billionaire backed PAC - 1776 Project PAC- is paying to play in @katyisd school board politics too. Paying for ads to support candidates claiming to stand for “local” Katy parents and values. Nothing “local” about this. 🧐 – at Texas, USA
We’ve got Super PACs (1776 project) injecting $$ into our school board races again. These 2 candidates filed their 1st campaign reports & are already at nearly $60k between them- for an unpaid position! Normal parents can’t compete. Our schools have been bought by far right orgs.
