And just like that, it's a wrap for the 23-24 school year! Ms Gruen & Ms Dennis have loved being your librarians, building memories filled with joy, laughter, and a love of reading. Next year, you'll have a brand new library team who is so excited to meet our awesome Huskies!

Thank you to @haskettjhpta for donating books for next year's Katy Book Wars! Our PTA always goes above and beyond to support Husky students & staff. 💙 #wearehaskett #katylibraries

The end of the school year has arrived, which means it's time to CELEBRATE! Our Reading Challenge Finishers & Top 5 Patrons get to spend their Advisory exam eating tacos & playing Mario Kart--not a bad way to spend a Monday morning, am I right? #katylibraries #wearehaskett

This time yesterday we were missing 578 books, so that means we've had almost 200 books returned in 24 hours! Keep up the work, Huskies, and make sure you're getting your books AND technology returned ASAP! @HaskettJH #katylibraries

For our final craft of the year, we took on a challenge! We learned how to weed & apply vinyl so we could make keychains to remember our favorite library club. Huskies then got to customize them with paint or a vinyl cut out of our mascot. Not a bad ending! #katylibraries

Today was our FINAL D&D club of the year, so of course we had to make it special! Each member got to take home their very own D20 token, fresh off the 3D printer, and one lucky kid got a SIGNED copy of Jamie Formato's ROLL FOR INITIATIVE to read over the summer! #katylibraries

A week late due to unexpected schedule conflicts, but we celebrated the end of #schoollibrarymonth today by making Bookish Friendship Bracelets! It was so cool seeing where they went with these! #wearehaskett #katylibraries

Pay attention, Huskies! Here are all the important library dates & events to help you end your 23-24 school year strong. Make sure you don't miss those deadlines! @HaskettJH

Final library activity of the year, @HaskettJH Huskies! Design your dream Squishmallow & turn it in by 5/10 and you could take home sweet Irina! All entrants will get limited edition Squishmallow bookmarks. Check the Canvas page, or swing by the library, for more details.

Come visit our mini art gallery in the library! Current exhibit: Found Object Art from Ms Albert's Life Skills group. Aren't they beautiful? #wearehaskett #katylibraries

This was the coolest surprise! 💙 Thank you for these!

Happy National Anime Day! For our 3rd Annual celebration, we had Chihiro & Sophie Hatter running the library. The library has been filled with art, perler beads crafts, and OST trivia In other words, we've been filled with laughter & fun! #wearthaskett #katylibraries #animeday

🚨New Library Station!🚨 We've brought everyone's favorite (frustrating) word puzzle to @HaskettJH, with a library twist! Come back each week for the answer reveal, and a new puzzle. But be warned--they'll get more difficult over time! @katy_libraries

Thanks to @haskettjhpta, our staff got to kick off STAAR testing on the right foot!

We're continuing the School Library Month fun with a duck hunt! Each day, we'll hide 4 ducks: 2 before school, 2 after 1st period. Find one & exchange it for a Husky keychain off our 3D printer @katy_libraries @HaskettJH #schoollibrarymonth

Happy School Librarian Day! Here are just some of the many reasons our students love our library, with more to come as the month goes on! A healthy school library builds culture, community, & readers! #SchoolLibrarianDay #SchoolLibraryMonth @HaskettJH @katy_libraries @TxASL
