300 grams of oats is a Ton of oats.
Two days of a high-dose oat diet lowered LDL cholesterol by 10% in adults with metabolic syndrome. Participants ate 300 grams of rolled oats per day (about 4 cups). By contrast, eating 80 grams daily for six weeks did not significantly lower cholesterol. What I find especially interesting is the mechanism. Oats shifted the gut microbiome and increased phenolic metabolites, including dihydroferulic acid. These changes tracked with the cholesterol reduction. Oat beta-glucan is already known to lower LDL. These microbial metabolites may be another piece of the puzzle, and another reason I eat whole oats once or twice a week.

Good morning! The President of the United States last night greenlit the destruction of two major US cities by a foreign adversary & all of Congress, along with most Americans, will shrug today. Great day to be an American.🙃

This combination of corporate look and corporate speak is always rewarded with a promotion to Senior VP of XYZ. Sadly, this is the blueprint.

The "If the data makes you uncomfortable, change it" era of public health is certainly something to behold.
The CDC raised its benchmark for levels of the Covid virus in wastewater, adjusting a key metric for assessing the disease’s transmission. As a result, officials may now classify a level that once counted as high transmission as moderate instead. nbcnews.com/data-graphics/cd…

Unfortunately, too accurate.
When I moved to Florida I realized there are millions of people who have been stewing in rage for years over the lockdowns. It really made me understand that the core animating force in US society is selfishness. The whole freedom thing is a thin veil for a sense of entitlement.

Not sure if it is bot-driven, but the huge amount of pushback at any attempt to improve people's access to basic food items is truly insane.

Tonight was a perfect encapsulation of where the U.S. is today. Total corruption and shooting ourselves in the foot for absolutely no reason so that we destroy ourselves in an utterly humiliating fashion.

Well done, sir. Well done.
The U.S. spends $1 trillion annually on defense and we still have Tim Ream?

If so many Americans are willing to dash whatever morality they have left to win a soccer tournament, there is really no hope for this nation. Too many are ready to embrace corruption as long as it suits their interests.

Remember that those at the top of an existing system are fiercely committed to preserving the status quo and their positions of power, and they will strongly oppose any meaningful change. They will come up with 212 reasons why things should stay the same & hope you buy just one.

I would love to see a Venn diagram of people injecting Black Market peptides versus those who refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine during a global pandemic.
