Today we're launching useABI, an associate built for M&A teams.
In under three years as an M&A associate at Greenberg Traurig in New York, I worked on 45+ deals worth $15bn+. On deal after deal, the client wanted to move faster and the best partners I worked with wanted to take on more. I started useABI to give M&A teams the capacity to do both, especially when the stakes are high and the timeline is tight.
useABI gives every lawyer on the deal an associate their firm owns and teaches. You brief it the way you'd brief a midlevel associate, and it works the deal with your team from the seller's draft to closing, in your firm's own positions and drafting style. Your lawyers review every piece before it goes to a client.
useABI is being deployed at a leading AmLaw 100 firm. Starting today, M&A lawyers can request access at useabi.ai, and clients can request access for their attorney on the same page.
Thank you to @bobambrogi for covering our launch on LawSites this morning (link in the first comment), to my co-founder @F_I_L_S, and to every lawyer who has given us their time and honest feedback this year.
Do more M&A. useABI.

Why are you sitting at home bored when you can go to the Blessed Sacrament and spend some quiet time with Jesus? 🥺
Go sit with Him. Talk to Him. Stay a while.
Jesus is waiting.
Have a beautiful week.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women
And Blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.

I think people underestimate how much life acceleration compounds.
If you can compress four years of experience into two, you don’t just save two years. You get access in year two to opportunities you normally wouldn’t see until year four. Then you start compounding from there.
Do that repeatedly and 10 years can contain 20 years of growth.

Away from that, I enjoyed your podcast yesterday. @MoSende_ has not responded to you yet. I believe he's going to come up with something definitely but before then, if you can make pictorial evidence of the projects available on your social media handles, it will make more sense

I hate when people give generic advice like "take it one day at a time"
What else am I gonna do? Skip Tuesday? Can I?

Hey @elonmusk, as you cheer the fall of a dictator in Venezuela, here in Uganda your @Starlink has disabled citizens' access to its internet just days to the January 15th election in which we seek to peacefully end Museveni’s 40-year-old dictatorship!
Like other dictators, Museveni has suffocated free expression, engaged in mass killings, brutally persecuted the opposition, and suppressed citizens' rights - among other atrocities. Please reactivate Starlink internet access in Uganda so that citizens can be able to communicate and stand a fair chance at shaping their destiny. Democracy dies in darkness!

We now know that more than 300 children and 12 teachers have been kidnapped from St Mary's Catholic School in Nigeria.
As a father, seeing these attacks makes my stomach turn.
The Nigerian government must disarm the radical Muslim Fulani militants terrorizing the Middle Belt.

In my experience, the people who always want to “balance” everything are, with the greatest respects, the most foolish in the scheme of opinion.
Everyone can see something is white, yet they feel compelled to invent a black side just so they can be called “objective.” On the average, they are not thinkers; they are noise-makers trying to sound clever by forcing depth where none exists.
Do not misunderstand me. I believe in dissent, and I will always defend the right of people to speak - even when what they say runs contrary to my own convictions. Freedom of expression must be protected at all times, even when the speaker is being wholly vacuous to ordinary men and to people of standard intelligence.
But there are limits set by decency.
People are being killed before our eyes. Someone finally offers help, and every sane person should see that as good news. Yet the compulsive “balancers” - some of them even preaching from the pulpit - are choking the air with conspiracy theories, claiming that the one who helps must have a hidden motive. They call it nuance, but it is nothing of the sort.
On the average, they are not thinkers. They are practitioners of weaponised idiocy, manufacturing confusion and calling it intelligence. Many are simply defending the investments they have made in religion, feeding on the ignorance of their followers while preaching the prosperity of heaven after death, even as they enjoy comfort on earth from the lean resources of the congregation.
A thinking man knows the simple truth that no mineral, no political interest, no imagined strategy is worth more than the lives of people.
Some minds have sunk too deep into darkness. Perhaps the gods, in their cruelty, have filled the earth with those who mistake cynicism for wisdom, and now all humanity must pay the price.
The gods are cruel. - @MoSende_

Good to see more attention being paid to the violence against Christians in Nigeria.
The U.S. should designate Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern to address the continued unchecked acts of violence & terrorism against the Christian religious minority in Nigeria.
