90% of videos on YouTube (non shorts) NEVER Get 1000 views.
97% NEVER Get to 10,000 Subscribers
(Roughly less than 2.5M Channels out or 100M+ Channels - 2022)
Less than 10% of YouTubers Get into the YouTube Partner Program and Get Monetized.
Of 100M Channels Globally Worldwide
350K + Silver Play Button (100k)
35K+ Gold Play Button (1M)
1500+ Diamond Play Button (10M)
7 Red Diamond Play Button (100M)
The Top 10% of channels even who have modest success, move radically differently than the bottom 90%.
And it’s not “luck”, people tell you that because it makes them sound humble and relatable instead of telling you in any transparent way what they actually did to set themselves apart.
There are only about 55K channels with Silver Play Buttons in the USA…
Only about less than 1/3 of the channels with Silver Play Buttons are ENGLISH speaking channels.
So if you’re reading this as a content creator in the West 100,000 people isn’t YouTube being saturated when MOST of them aren’t even in your niche or trying to compete for the attention of the same audience.
Analyze the gap between your abilities and someone in the position you want to be in…
But that may not be your skill, you may not have the capacity to reverse engineer someone else’s success and come up with an action plan to apply it…
And even if you did, do you have the skills to executed it?
The majority of Creators over 100,000 Subscribers will tell you it took 5-7 years to get there…
Do you know what the exceptions often are?
People who didn’t have to work 40-60 hours a week and still find the energy to make content…
If you’re a working class creator, TIME is one of your biggest obstacles.
And a lack of certain skills means your time is spent even less efficiently.
When you also don’t have a proper strategy or know best practices, that’s working against you too.
So no… LUCK doesn’t decide who becomes a successful YouTuber or when.
It’s largely a matter of T.I.M.E.
Time Freedom (flexibility + availability)
Investment (tools and training)
Manpower (outside help)
Experience (strategy and skill level)

I believe Twitter is eventually gonna transition to X. X dot com will likely act as a parent company, and a singular app to combine a wide range of services similar to WhatsApp.

Me: When you have a question, do you always ask ChatGPT?
10 yo: Unless it's Pokemon-related.
Me: Why do you use Google for those?
10 yo: I don't. I use the Pokedex.
Me: So you don't use Google for anything?
10 yo: No, not really.
