Practice what you preach! I had a bit of extra time since it's a 3 day weekend, and I solved a defect in the design on my @DAngelicoNY Had a really bad buzz rattle on the plastic electronics plate. @Onshape to the recuse, TPU #3dprinting gasket solved the buzz, sealed up tight!
Sometimes you roll the dice on a grant and it actually works out! Thank you to the Barona Band of Mission Indians for the grant and Senator @toniatkins for being rep/sponsor. It takes a community to make dreams come true! Looking forward to upgrading to @Bambulabs_ 3D printers!
#DePortolaGTT got to take my Level 2 class of students out to @fleetweeksd to explore STEM and check out some cool tech. Bummer it took an hour and a half to get in because of security (missed the ship tour), but once in, they seemed to enjoy their time.
My TA asked to print Hello Kitty for his sister's birthday, so I said, that would be a perfect first AMS test print (matches the Bambu colors provided in the bundle)! 9ish hours later, some VERY light post processing for support removal, it's a hit! @BambulabGlobal @printablescom
I can't send in a ticket, because I don't have an SD card (shame it does not come with the X1) to export the log, which is required by @BambulabGlobal I am under the impression this my require our district to whitelist some stuff and the ports may need to be opened. Anyone else?
Unboxed the @BambulabGlobal X1 and my kids walked in the classroom and they were like "Whao! Mr white got a new FRIDGE!" Lol! 🤣 Now, jokes aside, how do you all set up your workflow for prints from @Onshape @tinkercad to @BambuStudio I have 1 iPad, 36 PCs and a "hidden network"
Thinking of binding a separate laptop (not typical student/class laptop) to the printers and seeing if we can get the Ss to load their sliced Bambu Studio files back into their onshape document by importing them, then sharing the doc with a generic Onshape account on the laptop.
Everything is slicing and the Onshape workflow for cloud transfer of sliced files is perfect! Unfortunately, I till have yet to get a single @BambulabGlobal printer to connect to a Windows device, asks for a binding code in BambuStudio software, can't find!
Been using @Onshape a long time, and I am scratching my head on this one. Tried Loft and Sweep for this little cut and I keep getting a red error on the spline path (is the pathway too dramatic)? Suggestions?

Rube Goldberg Workshop on Meta Quest? Seems like a cool concept. I'm always shocked by how low the reviews are for every single option I am curious about. Are AR/VR folks just too critical, or are the 3-4 stars just where we are at with dev?

Wondering if @alicekeeler or @jmattmiller might know. Is there a way to create an @amazon Wish List or Cart and convert it to a @googlesheets spreadsheet? Trying to get all my Purchase Order Requests into one organized sheet. It's always so tedious to do it manually.
