The mass killing of civilians, cultural erasure and destruction of property and infrastructure in Gaza is collective punishment for Hamas's terrorism. In other words, it is punishing people who were not responsible for the crimes. It is without legal or moral justification.

Everything that makes campaigning against fossil fuels difficult is 10x harder when it comes to opposing #LivestockFarming.
Yet, alongside fossil fuels, it's one of the two most destructive industries on Earth. We shouldn't shy away.
This week's column.

This is an abomination. As Jews, to see this being done in our name... horrifying, despicable, words fail.
This is what our government supports in Gaza. Thousands of children murdered, people being rounded up, stripped, and G-d knows what else.
Ceasefire NOW, end this nightmare

🔴NEW REPORT🔴
🏭Fossil fuel companies have NO MEANINGFUL PLANS to reduce their carbon emissions or switch to renewables.
🤥 Yet they continue with their GREENWASHING talking about greener investments and net zero trajectories.

How hard does one have to stomp to leave this imprint? This is a defense? "I wasn't trying to brand him, I was only stomping on his face with lethal force."

“State Farm is one of the biggest companies that announced it wouldn’t insure any more California homeowners starting May 27 2023. The company, which held the most policies in the California property market in 2021, experienced about a 60% loss that year.” sfgate.com/bayarea/article/h…

Mass media journalists and editors continue to tell us the economic system isn't a problem, and that we just need new policies. That's a lie. We're in the mid 2020s with rising emissions at an all-time extreme high. Scientists are now talking net zero 2035.dumptheguardian.com/environm…

Ticking time bomb...
Doom loop...
and now
Spiral of silence:
"Just by leading your normal life, you are actually contributing to mass climate denial because people are looking at you and seeing that you think things are normal."

Fight doomism, but be fucking alarmed.
This tipping point is happening at lower temperatures than predicted, and climate change will be unimaginably bad if we do not phase out fossil fuels.
By and large people (still!) have no idea.

After release from custody today I was given bail conditions not to protest on any road in the UK. Marching is a legal form of protest and has always been a part of our democratic process. Our freedom and democracy is under threat from this government.
👩🏻🎤 Phoebe was arrested this morning for peacefully marching down a road to demand an end to all new oil and gas licences in the UK — a policy that is supported by all major UK political parties except the @Conservatives (it’s not like they’re funded by Big Oil or anything).
