Nigeria LNG (NLNG) has its sights firmly set on an 8th liquefaction train, even as the current 22 million tonnes per annum six-train facility remains under force majeure. The force majeure will remain active until plant utilization consistently reaches 90%.
Train 7 is expected to start before the end of 2027
The six train facility produces 22 million tonne per annum, running at roughly 82% to 83% utilization (an improvement from earlier averages of around 60%). Train 7 will take the plant production to 30 million tonne per annum.
CANCER CAN TAKE A LIFE: IT SHOULDN’T HAVE TO TAKE A FAMILY’S LIFE SAVINGS TOO.
-: NO BE CHO- CHO ooooo
1: Under FG not Tinubu, the Federal Government is reducing the financial burden of cancer care:
2: Radiotherapy: up to N400,000 subsidy
3: Chemotherapy: 50% subsidy
4; Non-medical support: minimum N100,000 for vulnerable patients to help cover transport, accommodation and feeding.
5: That means less money drained from households when cancer strikes.
6: This is the microeconomic face of Tinubunomics: government support that translates into real naira saved by vulnerable Nigerian families. @muhammadpate @Fmohnigeria @sweetbelarosyy @thecompasshub @Commyhot1 @jayteeofnaija @Muhammed583357 @LionOlawale @THETROJANBEAST @drhcimci @Dr_statesman @SundayDareSD @governmentinubu @IsholaSamiat @NaijaGoodnewsHQ @ishaqsamaila5 @FOLVSHO @SimbiatLola @PBATMediaCentre @easydigita @Eyeofnigeria @nhia_nigeria @NigeriaStories @Updateboyx @ui_shehu

NBET starts paying GENCOS under President Tinubu’s Debt Reduction Programme
The Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Plc (NBET)* has commenced the settlement of participating Generation Companies (GenCos) and their associated Gas Companies following the successful issuance and signing of the ₦728.979 billion Series 2 Bonds under the ₦4 trillion Power Sector Multi-Instrument Issuance Programme.
This milestone represents a significant step in the implementation of the Presidential Power Sector Debt Reduction Programme, under the visionary leadership of *His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR*, and in furtherance of the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda. The settlement is being undertaken through a combination of ₦402,000,000,000.00 in Cash Bonds and ₦326,979,000,000.00 in Non-Cash Bonds, in accordance with the approved settlement framework.
The ongoing settlement marks a major step towards addressing historical obligations, restoring liquidity across the electricity value chain, and strengthening the financial position of power sector participants.
Beyond addressing legacy obligations, this development provides a pathway for the Nigerian electricity market to progressively transition towards a more sustainable market cash-flow framework, characterised by improved payment discipline, stronger liquidity and greater commercial certainty to support continued investment across the value chain. A more financially stable generation segment is also expected to strengthen the capacity of GenCos to sustain and improve their generation assets, support increased electricity generation, and contribute to greater reliability across the Nigerian electricity market.
This milestone demonstrates the Federal Government’s commitment, under the leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to resolving longstanding legacy obligations while laying the foundation for a financially sustainable, commercially viable and investment-driven electricity market.
The current focus of *Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Plc (NBET)* is on preparatory activities towards the commencement of the second phase of the Programme, as we continue to advance the objectives of the ₦4 trillion Power Sector Multi-Instrument Issuance Programme.

More than 1,400 PHCs now offer primary eye care in Nigeria, while over 1.5m schoolchildren have been screened.
Bringing eye checks closer to communities can catch problems earlier and protect sight before it is lost.
Ladies and gentlemen, there’s hope.

Yesterday, I had a very productive meeting with the incoming Governor of Ogun State, Senator Solomon Adéọlá Olamilekan Yayi @Sen_AdeolaYAYI , where we discussed the future of our dear state.
One thing that stood out was his interest in the aspirations of young people, particularly Gen Z, who will play a defining role in shaping Ogun’s future. We discussed the need to create direct channels for young people to engage with the government, share feedback and contribute meaningfully to policymaking. After all, you cannot build a future for young people without giving them a voice in shaping it.
Building a state is a continuous process. The progress made under Governor Dapo Abiodun’s ISEYA provides a foundation upon which we can build, consolidate and advance our collective aspirations as a people.
For me, the journey from ISEYA to ITESIWAJU is about moving Ogun State forward, building on the gains of today to realise the greater possibilities of tomorrow.
I believe in Senator YAYI, I believe in what his ITESIWAJU agenda represents, and I believe in his bold, practical and vivid vision for Ogun State.
I will do everything within my power to support his emergence as Governor and contribute to the realisation of the Ogun State of our dreams.
This is bigger than politics for me. It is about the future of our people, the opportunities available to our young people and the kind of state we want to leave for the next generation.
ITESIWAJU is more than a political aspiration; it is a promise of a brighter future, greater opportunities and a better Ogun State for all of us under a Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi leadership.
