Guidance Tamil Nadu hosted Mr. K.K. Pathak, IAS, Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, who heads the Deregulation Cell, along with the Deregulation Taskforce chaired by Mr. Sunil Paliwal, IAS, Chairperson, Inland Waterways Authority of India, last Friday as part of the ongoing Deregulation and Compliance Reduction Exercise. The consultation reviewed the progress of Phase II and outlined the roadmap for Phase III, with a focus on simplifying regulatory processes, reducing the compliance burden, and further strengthening Tamil Nadu’s Ease of Doing Business ecosystem. The meeting brought together industry associations and key stakeholders to gather feedback, identify priority areas for regulatory reform, and ensure that the reform process remains responsive to the needs of businesses.
