At the TN Rising Conclave, Pei Hai Group, a Taiwan-based leader in non-leather footwear, exchanged MoU in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister (@CMOTamilnadu) Thiru M.K. Stalin (@mkstalin) and Hon'ble Industries Minister (@TNIndMin) Dr. T.R.B Rajaa (@TRBRajaa).
The 70-year-old company operates its largest development centre in Taiwan and has a manufacturing footprint across Indonesia, Vietnam, China, and Myanmar.
With an investment of over INR 720 crore, Pei Hai Group will establish a manufacturing facility at the upcoming State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (@SIPCOTTN) Melur Industrial Park. The project is expected to create around 15,000 jobs, with a majority of these opportunities benefiting women.

Hon’ble Chief Minister (@CMOTamilnadu) Thiru M.K. Stalin (@mkstalin) today laid the foundation stone for the new SIPCOT (@SIPCOTTN ) Industrial Park in #Melur, marking a major milestone in Madurai’s industrial future.
Spanning over 270 acres with world-class infrastructure and modern plug-and-play facilities, the park will host clusters for non-leather footwear, light engineering, packaging, and other industries, further powering Madurai’s emergence as a key industrial and economic engine for Tamil Nadu.
