Last few turkeys left so don't miss out on the chance to have the very finest Christmas feast and support a small local family farm and its wildlife at the same time.

Excited to have @PaddockFarm sausages in stock at tomorrows pop up farm shop 😋
The best thing about using an old ice cream freezer to sell beef is the look of disappointment on the children's faces when they run up to it and pull out a brisket or topside 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Having finished our latest coppice harvesting contract today on the Cambs/Bedfordshire border, I thought I would put together a series of short videos to explain the work in more detail and explain why woodland management is so important.

Nigel Adams, an absolute 𝑀𝐴𝑆𝑇𝐸𝑅 hedgelayer (from whom I continue to learn SO MUCH) is taking on a trainee this winter
A PAID trainee!
Want to learn to lay hedges? Doesn't get better than this. 37 days (£130/day) between Nov & March

Crumbs, this is an absolute unit!
Not in my Shieldbug and Leatherbug book, perhaps a Western Conifer Seed Bug? 20mm excluding antenna
@SallyAnn_Spence am I close?
Farming win! 👍
Spending 1 hour picking damsons and selling them for £150🎉
Farming Fail!👎
Putting up a gate as temporary repair, taking it down and back to the farm to fix fence properly, not having time to fix it and having to put gate back up again! 🙈

I'm not sure where this started to go so wrong but I now find myself BRIX testing apples!
Norfolk Beefing hitting 13.8 on the refractometer. Not sure on the science but paired with @wildfarmed @marksandspencer biscuits and @yeovalley cheese its the perfect supper
A small win!
Planted 10 acres of @CotswoldSeeds in mid may & its had hardly any moisture. I assumed it was dead but the crop of fat hen was stunning & grazed well, but now the lay has appeared!
Bottom end of the field is brash so none of the grass lived. Overseeding this Friday
The season is well and truly underway now! The Pitmaston Pineapple is laiden with fruit 😋

I'm guessing this is a Discovery but would be interested to know what others think. Tasting great right now but it doesn't last long

At the @royalwelshshow last week and great to see a few house martins. Sadly lots of evidence of nests that had fallen, at least 1 must have fallen recently as an adult kept flying to where it used to be. Perhaps fallen due to the recent heat
