In the middle of a trade war, Doug Ford is STILL importing electricity from the US. If he was serious about energy sovereignty, he'd invest in cheaper renewables like solar, wind and storage right here at home See my interview with Global below
NEW: The IESO, which manages the province's electricity grid, signed a contract with an American utility for power over the winter, despite the government's policies on shifting away from the US. Critics say it undermines the Premier's buy Ontario / Canada plan. #onpoli

Canada proudly has two official languages - French and English, yet Francophones in Ontario are being denied access to services because the Ford PC government does not respect the bilingual language laws. As leader and Premier I will ensure French language services are a right and an asset to strengthen, not a favour. xitter.cf/ontliberal/status/2112…

Ontario Liberals are demanding Doug Ford’s government fix serious gaps in French-language services at ServiceOntario. Francophones should be able to access the services they’re legally entitled to without being told to come back another day or navigate around missing bilingual staff. After nearly 8 years in office, Ford’s government needs to fix the staffing, enforce the rules, and implement the Commissioner’s recommendations. #onpoli

Students who have put countless hours into their education at a career college that passed ministry inspections are not responsible for the developing OSAP scandal, yet they're the ones paying the price. #FixOSAPASAP #onpoli

🚨 #BREAKING: Last year, students at just three Academy of Learning campuses received more than $219 million in OSAP grants. Now we know the career college owners at the centre of this scandal donated to @OntarioPCParty, hired former Premier's Office staff as their lobbyists, and had PC ministers and MPPs at ribbon-cuttings for the worst-offending campuses. Doug Ford's government was inspecting these campuses with one hand and cutting ribbons with the other. We've been asking how this was allowed to go on for so long. Is this why the government looked the other way? #onpoli

This morning, I joined @CTVYMOttawa to discuss the OSAP scandal. Doug Ford needs to immediately reinstate OSAP for students who followed the rules. Keep the bad actors cut off, investigate them, and make affected students whole. The government must also reverse its OSAP grant cuts to public colleges and universities. Their claims that OSAP was unsustainable deserve serious scrutiny in light of what we now know. Students should not be paying the price for this government’s failures. #onpoli

Career colleges in Ontario raised concerns directly with the government about potential abuse in the system. That’s the part our Interim Leader, John Fraser, says Ontarians shouldn’t lose sight of: they knew. They were warned. They waited. And now they're making students deal with the fallout. #onpoli @JohnFraserOS

You’re firing nurses and health care workers across Ontario.
Doug Ford and our Ontario PC team are making record investments in health care. This year, we’re investing more than $101 billion to connect more people to family doctors, build new hospitals and train more doctors. ontariopc.ca/2026/10/07/reco…

NEW: Ontario’s Health Ministry spent $13.3M on advertising last year, new FOI records show. That brings our tally of the Ford government's advertising spending to more than $90 million across five ministries. The health minister's office says advertising remains an "important tool" for informing families about programs & initiatives. Opposition says the government should be using that funding on life-saving treatments or relieving hospital pressures. thetrillium.ca/news/health/o…

When it’s one controversy after another, trust starts to disappear. From questions about public spending to repeated warnings being ignored, Ontarians have every reason to ask whether this government can be trusted to manage their money responsibly. #onpoli

Most career colleges do the right thing. In fact, the sector itself rang the alarm bells. Court filings show Career Colleges Ontario warned the government about suspicious OSAP activity in January 2023, and later asked it to refer the concerns to police. So why did it take almost three years to inspect the first campus? Did the government ever request a police investigation? Instead of acting, Ford cut OSAP grants for every student. That's why we asked the Auditor General for answers. #onpoli @TylerWatt

A former Postmedia CEO alleges Doug Ford’s office used a government contract as leverage to get a pre-election letter published across Postmedia newspapers. That raises serious questions about how Ford’s government is using the power of his office to get what he wants. Ontarians deserve answers. #onpoli

Trois questions. #onpoli

The FAO says Ontario will be $2 billion short just to maintain CURRENT health care services. I asked Minister Jones a simple question: yes or no, will there be service cuts? She deflected. I asked again. She never answered. Stop dodging the question. Properly fund public health care and be honest with Ontarians. #onpoli
