Rent control is the belief that somebody should be able to force another person to provide a service against their will. Certainly not a very moral position if you value living in a free society.

Kids shouldn't wait to get hired. JUST STARTING BUILDING. Learn the art of context engineering, and there are so many opportunities to produce value.

Flooding the market with cheaper labor has zero downsides? Isn't the left supposed to be pro-labor?

The progressive plan: worsen living conditions to lower prices, enabling government or NGOs to buy homes for illegal migrants and drug tourists. Create a large underclass dependent on government/NGOs. Then demand "tax the rich" (but tax the working class instead) when taxpayers leave and funding runs out.

If we don't have strong law enforcement to protect businesses, this is bound to happen. Once again, hard-left policies are to blame.

Street closures would make sense if there were quick and easy ways to move people and supplies from my home to anyone else’s home or business. Currently, that doesn’t exist, so closing roads just adds more traffic to the remaining roads, since people still need to move to various locations across various neighborhoods and cities. The people who want to close roads still rely on repair men and businesses which rely on roads. So even if you don’t drive, you’re dependent on others who need to drive to deliver essential goods and services. They call people “car addicts” while relying on people to be able to drive. They don’t grow most of their own food, nor do they roof their own roofs.

We need Trump’s help to fix our state, so let’s work with him. If anything, we need to Newsom-proof the state, as he’s the one destroying the middle class and inviting in terrorists and criminals.

Even better: send mayors and governors to prison if they violate federal immigration laws.

Why are SF progressives obsessed with protecting violent human trafficking cartels? What is in it for them?

Even if the U.S. disappeared, China and India will buy and burn all of the gas we don’t use. So the question becomes: are you willing to starve millions of Americans so that other nations can burn the fuel anyway?

I guess I should leave the tech industry and work for the city if I want a raise.

We’re all immigrants. Legal immigrants should be prioritized, and those who jump the line should face serious consequences.

She’s just going to push them back and forth to different parts of the city. It won’t make much of a difference as long as we’re providing sanctuary city protections to drug dealers and human traffickers, which is why these crime camps are here to begin with.

Everything that the city is in charge of is crumbling, in disrepair. SF government can’t handle the responsibilities that it already has. So the last thing we need is to give it more responsibilities.
