Hate to say it, but trans people are actually the reason I can’t afford anything. I keep going on dates with them. Buying their zines. Going to their expensive parties… I’d have so much more disposable income without trans people!

Here's the sad truth: it is better to let one cis kid make a mistake and transition when they shouldn't, than to torture the 999 other trans kids by ratio who would be happier with hrt.
Here’s the sad truth: the younger the transition, the better they’re gunna look post-transition. But the younger we allow ppl to transition, the more risk we are running of kids making an irrevocable choice before they fully understand the consequences. Hunter Schafer started taking puberty blockers at 13 and HRT at 16. Was that early enough to be sure-sure?

Even if there were jobs there are 3 issues: 1. Autistic & ADHD people need to be offered jobs 2. Interviews are done wrong for autistic people 3. Most people, especially managers, are scared of autism.
Even if all the kids diagnosed with autism and ADHD theoretically could work in later life with the right support, the problem is twofold. Firstly, there are no jobs anyway, not even for every nondisabled neurotypical person who needs one, and secondly a significant proportion society don't seem to want to fund the required in-work help. In other words, they can't win.

Billionaires steal your wages so you can’t afford anything. Landlords steal your housing so they can charge you unaffordable rent. Governments refuse to help you and instead put the blame on immigrants and trans people.
BREAKING: Protests are spreading across France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Portugal over the high cost of living.

what the hell went wrong with society? a few years ago, you could work a normal job, afford your own apartment, own a little car and live independently. now people work full-time and can barely afford to exist. how did we let life become this expensive?

Torturing trans people by forcing them to essentially go through social conversion therapy is so incredibly cruel.. @UKLabour promised to protect trans people until Rowling interfered back them. How many trans people need to die until they start to care?
A trans woman died because of the UK’s new hospital ward policy forcing them men's wards. Joelle was only 27 — a musician, coder, and daughter. This is what happens when they care more about demagoguery, backwards views of sex, non-existent risk than people's well being.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Joelle's case dates to 2023 after a Conservative minister's ward announcement, not the Oct 2026 NHS biological-sex guidance. The Trans Legal Clinic page ties it to that earlier event. translegalclinic.com/justice-for-jo… bbc.co.uk/news/health-66… bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Given the recent news, it is now very clear that trans people in the UK are very much second-class citizens compared to everyone else. * Healthcare (both everyday and trans specific). * Employment (this has been known for decades). * Housing (again, this has been known for decades). * Sports (pretty much banned from participating, even at grassroots level, t&c applies). * Hate (significantly increases most years). * Political Representation (none, other than the odd local councillor) * Legal Recognition (equal to Russia in being so bad). I could go on, but this post is so distressing.

JK Rowling’s money and the rise of the Far Right. Our state broadcaster @BBCNews fanning the flames. The complete snuffing out of trans voices in the media. The hijacking of the NHS and EHRC. Nobody of consequence sticking up for us. They’ve had a free run, and now control everything.
genuine question for british oomfs, why the hell is the uk so transphobic? one of the most developed countries in the world should NOT be as transphobic as my r+30 state

This is murder. This is a murder that was partaken in by the entire political establishment and the NHS. It is a murder of a person for no other reason than simply because she was trans. Nobody will go to jail. Nobody will suffer any consequences. But they all murdered Joelle.

Most people in France can't afford housing. They didn't blame immigrants, or transgender people, or video games, or avocado toast. They blame the government. Because that's who's responsible. That's always who's responsible.

Lowkey breaks my heart that a film as good as Forgotten Island is bombing. Wish we could do something to help it perform better, but I’m afraid it may be too late. I hope it has a legacy or a cult following or something though, too good to be forgotten and seen as a failure.

THIS IS GOOD AI - Only used for tedious work - Doesn't affect creative integrity - Uses completely localised data - Not from a data center - Localised programs aren't bad for the environment in the same scale - Data was taken with consent to the artists 0 problems here
