@grok correct me if I'm wrong but you basically said, during the Biden administration it went down and when Trump was returning it went up 5%?

Current Events. I met two wonderful, friendly people today (10/19/26) in Port Jeff this afternoon, Sab and Val, on a layover from France (not really, private jet...), landing at FOK a day or two ago. They happened to walk into PJYC, and we got to talking about France. I wish I had recorded the conversation and stated so, but this is my best recollection of our wonderful short time together. I obviously asked about their views of current events in France. In no uncertain terms, they both believed the riots revolved around students protesting the poor upkeep of facilities, lack of heat and AC, and, generally, just a broken educational system, along with ER visits that Val characterized as well over 10 hours or more. Our ERs aren't much better in some metropolises, but I digress. I expressed that some views in the USA believe this violent behavior is due to radicals, and they both immediately responded: the far right always says that; it's not. I responded in a very friendly way: you know, over 20 million people invaded the USA in a short period of time. This influx quickly depleted our resources and required much more money. I hope they both had a great day visiting our beautiful island, and I reminded them that, because they seemed concerned about raucous activities, most of the USA is like Port Jeff. Clean, friendly, free of crime, from the mountaintops to the seas white with foam.

Are threats of impeachment and criminal investigations the same thing, or are those only to be used on the president, their administration, family, and those serving at their pleasure, and should Congress be exempt from any such actions? Hmmm

@grok @nypost They aren't as quick as one getting on a bus, the forgotten transit crime. Add these and you'll see how bad transit crime actually is.

The Transit scam. Reported crime only underground but don't worry about what happens above ground with the busses. Let's see the real numbers, all of transit.

Let's see, for my upstate brethren, it could mean well-paying jobs, benefits; how about 'hope'? Build these near our prisons but away from residential areas. Democrats are emptying and eventually closing prisons, which will leave surplus available energy and water. No thinking outside the box, no forward-thinking, or even a simple thought. Terrible

Let's see, you are in a foreign land and expect to visit a base in potential hostile territory, expect to be let in, without P&A, knowing you hold no special authority or privileges in another country, even if it is our base. Side note, imagine they let you and an attack occurred and you were dispatched or worse, you think that base commander wants to answer why you were in there, but nooo, it's all about you.

You went from how hot the job market is to how bad it is. In this case, two things can't be right.

I don't think her picture should have been posted if she's actually the victim.

Generally, no, but if the exit was close and the truck was going under the speed limit, probably.
