The debate between Manga and Comics is interesting. While Manga has all the advantages, Comics just aren't made to compete with them. Comics want to keep their characters forever young and never let them progress beyond a certain point. Manga is only progression.

Being upset with fans who don’t like Lanterns is interesting given all the great Green Lantern content of the past twenty years.
Imagine an eight-episode series about Peter Parker working as a photographer at the Daily Bugle, never suiting up as Spider-Man. He uses his web-shooters four times, while Uncle Ben is villainized as a white old-school racist. “With great power comes great responsibility” becomes “With great skills comes great humility” or some bullshit.
“But it’s character-driven! It’s world-building! It’s setting up future seasons!”
Those excuses can’t substitute for delivering the character and concept people came to watch.

Insomniac confused humanizing Wolverine with softening him. Logan can joke, care, love Jean and still feel dangerous, damaged and angry. The tenderness should come through cracks in the armor. If the cracks become the whole exterior, you’ve lost Wolverine.
She was heavily written as being in an implied relationship with Destiny in 1981. Insomniac didn’t invent this. I still don’t like the Wolverine game, but at least use facts to disparage it. No need for fake news and rage bait.
“If you don't like this game your not a real gamer!” - do these people even hear themselves at this point? Gaming is about choice in what we enjoy. We like what we want. If you want to like this, go ahead! But it makes you no less of a gamer if you can recognize a bad game.
