If someone sends you inappropriate content or asks you to send them inappropriate images of yourself, log off immediately and report this to your parent/guardian. Keep your passwords a secret at all times. Do not share your personal information with anyone, or agree to meet with a stranger. Remember, not everyone on the internet is your friend. think twice about what you are sending.

ALT So now the question for us as leaders, ladies and gentlemen, is how can we help prepare children and young people to seize the opportunities presented by the digital world without compromising their well-being or putting it at risk? Are we training them well enough to be the cybersecurity soldiers who can defend data privacy, integrity, and protection?

ALT This framework is an excellent step forward to have a systematic way to track cases and ensure they are resolved. But to make it work effectively, we need many more social workers. In my dream world, we’d have one for every sector in Rwanda. My plea is that MIGEPROF, MINALOC, and MINECOFIN will have serious discussions about how to increase the number of social workers so that we can see the case management framework implemented to its full potential.
