Today, the Coordinator of Isange One Stop Centre, Bateta Jeanne, received a delegation of regional partner organisations of Rwanda Women’s Network at Isange One Stop Centre, Kacyiru.
The visit aimed to benchmark Rwanda’s multisectoral approach to providing services to victims of gender-based violence (GBV) and child abuse.
The visit is also part of their regional planning workshop focusing on improving sexual and gender-based violence response mechanisms and strengthening the support structures available to victims.
Today, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Dr. Ugirashebuja Emmanuel @eugirashebuja1, officially opened a three-day RIB Leadership Retreat.
During this retreat, RIB leaders will review the progress towards institutional goals, assess operational challenges, and identify strategic priorities and actionable measures to strengthen innovation and advance a technology-driven RIB in combatting crimes.

The two-day conference brought together participants from across the globe to share experiences, good practices and strategies for combating online scams and the criminal networks behind them.
In his remarks, he expressed Rwanda’s appreciation to Cambodia for hosting the conference and highlighted the strong bilateral cooperation in combating human trafficking.
He noted the growing links between online scams, organised crime and human trafficking, and called for stronger international cooperation, information sharing and joint investigations to dismantle these criminal networks and protect victims.

Their discussions also highlighted how Isange One Stop Centre services align with the Maputo Protocol.
