Liverpool Music Month (May), and Liverpool Summer of Music (June-August), are set to target music-loving visitors from across the UK - and beyond - to come and experience the best music from around the globe in the world’s music capital.
As part of the programme, we’re offering artists, musicians and music-based organisations from across the city region – Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral - the opportunity to use it as a platform for their own work.
This can be through performance, workshops, talks, community activity or other music-related projects reflecting the rich breadth of music-making across our region.
Up to 20 commissions from across the Liverpool City Region could be supported with funding to help in the development of their projects.

For over 30 years, a piece of land in Rosebery Street, Toxteth (L8) has been abandoned.
Rubbish, rats, exposed drainage and unsafe conditions sit metres away from family homes — where children play and elders walk.
This affects hundreds of local residents.
Instead of being an asset, the site has become a source of:
• Public health concerns
• Environmental hazards
• Anti-social behaviour
• Anxiety for families
