$LUNC and $USTC burns have been increasing on the Terra Classic chain in recent days. Activity has increased as the processes related to Do Kwon near completion.
Total $LUNC burns have exceeded 416 billion. The amount of $LUNC burned in the last five days has exceeded 1 billion. All of these burns were fueled by the "burn tax."
The Terra Classic chain generates value. It uses 80% of its generated value for burns, reducing the supply burden on the chain.
10% of the generated value goes to the community pool and 10% to the staking pool.
The Terra Classic community's top priority is to reduce the supply of LUNC and USTC. Data and actions support this...

#LUNCcommunity, a status update of the "simplified tax handling" development for $LUNC:
@GarudaUniverse did not experience any issues during testing, same as @miata_io. @_Terraport_ is still in testing.
@orbit__labs hinted at an issue which has been fixed now and a patch will be deployed on testnet shortly.
Overall it looks very positive and promising. Looking forward to the test results of Terraport and a potential backbone labs test deployment which would be a perfect test case for a non-TC native app deployment.

That is 100% not what you paid for and NOT what was outlined in the proposal.
You paid for modelling the Divergence protocol to prove it's feasibility to put us into a better position in discussions with the CEXs. We did that and we proved it works. The CEXs to this day, do not want to commit to a decision either way on it. That is 100% outside of my control.
It's was outlined numerous times in the proposal that the decision would ultimately rest with the CEXs. How can you complain when you didn't even bother to read what you voted for?

I see pro/anti KYC is stirring up a bit of debate in the community. KYC is being voted in purely from a security POV without looking at the repurcussions on the future of our chain. It's here lies the disconnect between the factions!
