Official Statement from the Libertarian Party
The Libertarian Party does not condone calls for political violence or the initiation of force.
The organization in New Hampshire currently making violent extremist comments is not affiliated with the Libertarian Party and does not speak for our party.
The Libertarian National Committee disaffiliated that organization in May. The Libertarian Party Judicial Committee later unanimously rejected its appeal.
The official Libertarian Party affiliate recognized in New Hampshire is @GraniteStateLP.
The Non-Aggression Principle is a fundamental core of libertarianism. It is not optional, and it is central to what our party stands for.
All members of the Libertarian Party are required to take the Libertarian Party Membership Pledge:
“I hereby certify that I oppose the initiation of force as a means of achieving political or social goals.”
Political and social change must be pursued through peaceful, voluntary means — not violence, threats, or aggression.

Joint statement from the Chair and vice-Chair of the Vermont Libertarian party:
The calls for violence by the now disaffiliated and fraudulent political club known as LPNH are antithetical to the core of libertarian beliefs. This republic was founded upon the idea and ideals of equal rights for all people and a government by the consent of the governed. The founders placed numerous checks and balances in the new Constitution to ensure continued peaceful transitions of power because they had just fought and sacrificed so greatly. Domestic tranquility and the blessings of liberty were what they desired for us - their posterity - and it would be deeply unwise to ignore this and throw it away for factional interests. As libertarianism is premised upon the foundations of non-aggression and equal natural rights for all, we stand for peaceable political change and against violence.
The bottom line is that the Libertarian National Committee officially kicked LPNH out of the party back in May, and this was unanimously confirmed by the Judicial committee during the appeal. The Granite State Libertarian party is the correct and proper affiliate of the national Libertarian party, and we welcome our new neighbors with glad hearts and goodwill.

Congress did one and only one thing today.
The House passed a bill to withhold money from universities if they don’t play nice with Israel.
I voted No.
It’s not proper for our federal government to coerce universities into engaging with any particular foreign country.

One of the worst things about Trump is that he’s ushering in more corporate welfare, cronyism, and socialism while parading it under the banner of capitalism, so we end up with all the failings of those ideologies but with a generation of young people blaming the market economy.

It is not a coincidence that socialism is more popular among people with high social and educational capital and less popular among the working class––both cohorts understand who is best able to game centrally planned systems.

Libertarianism isn’t about “the world revolving around you” or “hyperindividualism”; it’s about advancing human cooperation, which is best achieved by protecting individual liberty. Hayek explained it best: fee.org/ebooks/individualism…

Life. Liberty. The pursuit of Happiness. The Founders didn't just declare independence 250 years ago. They declared the most libertarian idea in human history.
🇺🇸 Happy Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Ah, the ultimate “It’s not you, it’s your tyrannical taxes and standing armies” letter.
In 1776, the colonies filed the most elegant Dear John in history—dissolving the political bands of a distant king who forgot the consent of the governed.
Libertarians still swoon: no more unaccountable rulers, just individuals securing their own rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Today?
We’d settle for dissolving a few federal agencies.
Happy Independence Day—may your government always stay ex.

PASSED: the KIDS Act requires every website to keep a copy of your sensitive personal information, gives the FTC control over the Internet, and replaces parents with the government, while letting states monitor everything you do on your computer without a warrant.

If you don’t want ID checks to get online and arbitrary AI-determined permanent account lockouts, you MUST to call their rep to vote against the KIDS Act (with a name like that, you know it’s nothing but manipulative pandering).
Directions on how in the comments to OT.
We have a little over 24 hours to save the internet. The vote is being rushed to the US House floor on Monday the 29th.
"Buried inside the KIDS Act are provisions that will push online services to verify all users’ ages, require government-directed moderation policies for online speech, and even create new rules about private and encrypted communications." -- EFF eff.org/deeplinks/2026/06/ki…
The bill has bipartisan support and large corporate donors, who all have a vested interest in eroding your privacy and freedom of speech. Similar bills have already passed in other countries and individual states and led to ID scanning mandates, faulty AI moderation, the removal of encrypted messaging, etc.
If passed, some platforms will require ID scans from all users, some may try to deploy faulty 'estimation' technology that will randomly trigger and cause your accounts to be either permanently deleted or locked until you fork over an ID. These systems have been a disaster where deployed in other regions and led to many account losses and data breaches.
