Why wouldn’t Marshall want the endorsement of such a strong over-performer? Brownback won by a massive 3% in a GOP wave, and…okay, I can’t carry this on any longer! 😹😹😹😹
Not sure why people keep asking if I'm voting for @RogerMarshallMD next month. Of course I am. Kansas voters have a clear choice between Marshall and a liberal Democrat who wants to make Chuck Schumer majority leader and block President Trump's judicial nominees.

Yup! lol And to go along with my previous post. I’ve built much older maps just for fun though…😎
Just for fun, here’s what the 2006 Gov map looked like by US Congrssional district. Strickland won 16/18 districts! 🤯

If Acton and Brown do indeed win their respective elections (still tossups), they’ll be the first Dems to win the offices since 2006 (Gov) and 1992 (Class II Senate seat).
You may recognize the R that lost the ‘92 Senate race…👀
I remember the ‘14 Gov election well (ironically Blakeman lost the House race in my district, NY-04).
Cuomo had a lackluster primary win that weakened him a bit (barely won Albany), and had to deal with a red wave, plus Green Party siphoning.
We’ll see how Hochul fares this year, but I’m skeptical she wins by <15.

Apparently that voter isn’t the only one who’s been swayed! 🤭
While there will be fluctuations here, remember that the party holding the WH has only gained House seats 3x: 1934, when Rs were still held responsible for the Great Depression; 1998, when Rs overstepped on Clinton’s impeachment; and 2002 (👇🏻), where Bush had high favorables from 9/11 and we saw this gem of gerrymandering.
Crystal Ball actually had it as Leans Independent at one point. There was real worry Roberts would blow it, so Rs started pumping money into the state and bring in some star power to turn out the base (e.g. Ted Cruz).
Roberts ended up winning comfortably, but it was a process.

Kansas hasn't been a Tossup since 2014!
I truly want to believe all the hype around the KS Senate race, since it would make for an interesting result and break the longest Senate losing streak.
That said, I remain a bit skeptical. Barbara Bollier was a touted candidate in ‘20, but came up well short of a win.
