Langley deserves better than a choice between extremes.
I’m proud to be building momentum with CentreBC — a more balanced approach to government.

Our CentreBC candidates, campaign team and dedicated volunteers were out in the community today, knocking on doors, listening to residents and having conversations about the issues that matter most.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with our team and to the volunteers who continue to show up for their communities.

OneBC and BC Conservatives offer the same tired and toxic approach. @VoteCentreBC gives Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows voters a pragmatic, centrist option they can feel good about.
Attention federal Liberals in BC: Poilievre Conservative MP Marc Dalton is clear: “Lorne Doerksen has taken positions on issues important to many OneBC supporters, including DRIPA & SOGI…It’s public record that…I supported KLF, so I appreciate what you’re saying.”😳#bcpoli

Today at Peace Arch Hospital, Elenore Sturko outlined CentreBC’s plan for public health care: 600 more nurse practitioner positions by 2030, a family doctor or nurse practitioner team for everyone who wants one by 2031, and shorter waits.

Tone from the top matters. And on this one, @Dave_Eby failed.
But it isn’t the first time. In 2024 after narrowly winning the election, Eby made sure that all but one of his MLAs got raises through Cabinet, Junior Minister or Parliamentary Secretary roles. Once that was settled, they promptly cancelled the fall seating of the Legislature.
When you campaign on affordability, make sure you’re not also living a two tier version of it.
Just now, David Eby confirms that he has his kids in $10/day taxpayer-subsidized daycare.
Approx. only 10% of BC daycare spots offer $10/day daycare. Most families who want in can't get a spot.
As Premier, Eby earns $227k/year. Eby's wife is a doctor. Their household income is likely well over half a million dollars per year.
We don't resent British Columbians who are successful (we want more people to succeed).
But where there are wait lists, surely a wealthy family like Eby's shouldn't be taking advantage of $10/day daycare. Think about a working single mother? David Eby deserves the spot more than her?
Cut waste, not services. CentreBC delivers savings without cutting what matters:
• 20% less on outside consultants (every contract over $10K published)
• 25% less government travel and advertising
• Smaller cabinet
• More billing audits

BC is running a $13.3B deficit with no date to balance.
CentreBC puts a clear path in law: deficit shrinks every year after our first budget, balances by 2034/35. Independent budget officer checks it.
Front-line services protected. Every commitment costed. Fiscal responsibility is core to our platform.

I don't trust anyone in politics, but that's just me. 😃
Obviously CentreBC won't hold power, but they can still have good ideas that deserve a hearing.
It's a mix of people, ex-Liberal, ex-Cons, ex-Greens, etc. Generally socially progressive (or what counts as progressive these days), pro-economic responsibility but not ideological. They sincerely listen to experts. I'd call them genuinely pragmatic.
Have attracted a lot of people at least on the policy side who are mostly non-political but want to do what's right and were attracted by the overall statements on values (accountability mainly). That's how I got involved as a volunteer.
A lot of people fed up with politics as usual and think we need a different approach.
(And let's just say that more than a few people were very leery when that whole clusterf*ck w/ Milobar first came up... these are not people who are fans of most of what's gone on related to the Cons in recent years).
One doctor on the health policy team, who was involved with Libs/United in past, made a comment which I thought was telling... he'd spent a year with them and thought more real, serious progress was made on policy in two weeks w/ the group at CentreBC.
They're obviously way behind from an organizational perspective to run an effective political campaign this time due to snap election (e.g., no finances, no comms).
The platform document is also obviously rushed and could use some further refinement and clarification in many parts. But if you dig into the general themes it's mostly on the right track. And kudos to them for (finally) saying something real as opposed to just bullshit fake promises like we're getting from NDP and Cons.
I think if they somehow manage to elect a few MLAs it would be a good thing, just as it was in the past with a few Greens being in the legislature.
Long-term, I'd like to see their approach fleshed out and a more effective organization developed around it. Short-term, I hope what they say shifts the needle on public discussion and causes voters to put pressure on the other parties.
As an electrician, I’m proud to back projects that actually get built.
LNG Priority Project
10 new mines by 2030
Expanding BC Hydro - 15% capacity increase.
CentreBC gets projects moving and powers new industry without the delays.

The NDP raised your taxes. CentreBC cuts them back on day one. First bracket reduction to 5.06% Jan 1, 2027 ~$540 back in a typical family’s pocket. Straight answers. Real results.

I'm not posting this because I think @VoteCentreBC will win govt (duh) or even (at best) more than a few seats.
They're pushing ideas to make govt accountable to the public and results matter. We desperately need that.
I want people to demand that NDP/Cons adopt some of these policies. Because they're good for BC. I don't give a shit who said them first. Whoever forms govt needs to be reminded what really matters.
Very glad to finally see a full, costed platform in this BC election... from @VoteCentreBC!

They've been quiet so far, but clearly have a lot to say!
And after too many questionable promises from NDP and Cons, it's a voice BC needs to hear. #bcpoli

A new chapter for CentreBC begins in South Surrey.
Today, we officially opened our campaign headquarters, marking an important milestone in our commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous British Columbia.
Thank you to the community members, volunteers, candidates, and supporters who joined us to celebrate this occasion.
At CentreBC, we believe British Columbians deserve principled leadership, practical solutions, and a credible alternative to the political status quo.
Our new headquarters will serve as a hub for community engagement, collaboration, and the work ahead as we continue building a movement focused on economic opportunity, responsible government, and a better quality of life for all British Columbians.
This is more than the opening of an office. It is another step toward building the leadership British Columbia deserves.
