Never thought I'd be compelled to mute the words #ibuprofen and #paracetamol on social media, but here we are. How very 2026.

How very exciting to receive Levi Pinfold's illustrated edition of #HalfBloodPrince this morning! It's perfect next to the other editions and next to a very inviting gap that's waiting for #DeathlyHallows! #HarryPotter #Books #Illustrated

to the men who say, “I’m too scared to even touch a woman in this Me Too era because of the possibility of an allegation.” GOOD. Don’t touch us. Don’t touch us unless we ask. Live by that. Act by that. We would greatly appreciate it.

Happy birthday, @Google. I remember the first search term I ever entered in Oct 1997 (before Google incorporated and in the early days of the google.com domain) in my university library computer. I could think of nothing intelligent, so searched 'Friends TV show'!!!

This would be hilarious if it wasn't bloody frightening. A national news outlet sowing division through a seemingly innocuous subject. My bare nails mean I can't be arsed, not that I'm somehow racist. Retract the article @BBCNews, please.

For several days, my timeline has been full of people doing a good impression of the Death Eaters from Harry Potter insisting only purebloods can call themselves English. No time to reply to all of them, but five quick questions for any who care to engage 1/6

Do you know what really grinds my gears? People actively wasting their lives researching the perceived faux pas that JKR makes in her writing. Maybe they should try reading Christie, Fleming, Blyton or Dahl.
This is funny cause well into 2000s she wrote her crime book that includes a Polish character named Lechsinka (not a Polish name), who didn't understand the word "detective", which is "detektyw" in Polish. By then, she had all the resources in the world. What's the excuse here?

The worst possible outcome of calling a by-election would be if everyone just ignored the whole thing and left me to spend the next few weeks shouting at a bin.

This country has a severe lack of patience and a severe abundance of entitlement. I’m not saying this guy was perfect, but claiming he did a bad job because change wasn’t instant is so short sighted. We shouldn’t be able to change PMs every 2 years - whichever side.
