Israeli IDF kidnapped Gemma Bean, assaulted her physically & sexually.
Absolutely terrible, cannot understand why they’re not sanctioned & Israeli embassy sent packing. @SenatorWong @AlboMP why do you support the IDF?
@beanie_613 Gemma wishing you well.

Well, this is an alarming escalation.
I’m 1 of 7 plaintiffs challenging QLD laws in the High Court that criminalise expressions of Palestinian solidarity.
We were already up against the QLD LNP Government - now NSW Labor has announced its falling into lockstep beside them, joining the fight to keep these fascistic laws in place.
7 individuals are now facing 2 state governments over laws that suppress dissent against genocide, erode civil liberties and have a chilling effect on those standing in solidarity with Palestinians.
If you care about Palestine, protest, civil liberties and the right to speak against injustice, please consider helping us fight this. 🇵🇸

Criticism of state violence is a democratic necessity. Discretionary power and legal ambiguity silence dissent.” The words “genocide”, “hate” and “silence dissent” are emphasised in large lettering, with red-orange accents against black, cream and blue.

Zack Polanski: “What I want to focus on as party leader is ending the genocide. Ending arms sales to Israel. We are still selling arms with a country that is killing innocent people. Most genocide scholars around the world say it’s a genocide. Once you know this to be true, why reduce arms sales as this British government has done? Why are you selling arms to a country that is killing innocent people?”

The 7 billionaire NFL Oligarchs, led by Robert Kraft, who canceled Macklemore for courageously speaking out against the genocidal Israeli government are worth $80 billion.
They got $2.715 billion from taxpayers to build their stadiums.
These stadiums don't belong to the Oligarchs.
They belong to the American people - 60% of whom believe the U.S provides too much military aid to Israel.
We're supposed to be living in a democracy, not an oligarchy.
This is obscene.
Since Robert Kraft is in the news, this is a good time to remind you what he did.
In 2019, he went twice in two days to a massage parlor in Jupiter, FL.
The first time he got a handjob.
The second time he got a blowjob.
Cops were already suspicious of the place so they had cameras that caught it all.
BUT...
Bob is a billionaire. So he hired the best lawyers money could buy for "high 6 to low 7 figures" and they found a judge who ruled the cameras violated the law and tossed everything out.
Bob walked.
The women did not. They were arrested and charged with prostitution.
So in short.. fuck that guy and his holier than thou moral charade.
Thank you @WilkieMP for being a voice for so many Australians.
Shame on you @AlboMP and @SenatorWong for assisting the Israeli IDF with the Genocide in Gaza, and which will most likely result in future sanctions on Australia.
A petition with 124,665 signatures says we don’t want our weapons, components & resources contributing to war crimes or genocide. The Red Lines Package gives Gov an opportunity to restore Aus's leadership on international law. I urge the Gov to act. #auspol #politas @amnestyOz

A message to neutral journalists:
“There is no neutral position between the oppressor and the oppressed.
“When one side has the bombs and bottomless financial and military support from America, refusing to take a side doesn't leave you in the middle.”
@macklemore
Robert Kraft, owner of the Gillette Stadium, called Ed Sheeran and told him Macklemore would not be allowed to perform in his stadium and rallied other stadium owners to collectively tell Ed to remove @macklemore from the tour. Ed caved:
"Ed Sheeran... told me that the words 'Free Palestine' and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood. But he couldn't get past his public facing, 'I don't take sides'."
@edsheeran took a side alright:

UK Lawyers for Israel are trying to proscribe *Médecins Sans Frontières*.
That’d mean they’d be treated as terrorists.
On the same legal footing as ISIS.
Membership would mean 14 years in prison.
This is what we’re dealing with
Shabana Mahmood is being urged by UK Lawyers for Israel to proscribe Doctors Without Borders (MSF) over staff’s alleged links to terrorist groups.

Is it just me, or has Katy Gallagher aged immeasurably?
Not talking about her appearance but the toll of constantly having to hold the line, defend the indefensible and repeat the same carefully constructed explanations.
Counterbalancing genocide.
French public broadcaster France Télévisions has removed the online replay of a France 5 program after actress Adèle Haenel used the broadcast to denounce Israel’s genocide in Gaza and France’s complicity.
Haenel appeared on La Grande Librairie on September 9 and used a closing segment to call for sanctions against Israel and freedom for Palestine. She said her team recorded the segment because they expected her remarks to be edited out, but France Télévisions instead removed the entire replay from its website.
The broadcaster said the replay was removed because Haenel’s remarks on Palestine were not counterbalanced by an opposing viewpoint during the program.
