The administration at the ACCA @ACCANews is shocking. 16 years I've lived at my address. 16 years I've been telling ACCA that the lady aged 89 when she sold me the house had moved. 5+ years I've been telling ACCA she died. Again today I got her voting form! She'd be 105 now!

Well if you'd have asked me what Friday after work birding would be this week I would never have suggested long-finned pilot whales off Gravesend!

Lucky weekend's birding. Early start to Dungeness Saturday morning, arrived to no sign of the RN Phalarope and no other watchers. Persevered and it popped out way over the back. Call to go home as A got his hospital escape permit so I wasn't around for the Brown Booby. 1of3

Fair pics and video to be edited but not as good as my luckiest nearly hit a bird with car ever at Elmley a couple of years ago when this wryneck shot across the track then posed right next to the car window in the teasels along the entrance track ❀️

With my brother in for another operation today, all I can say is THANK YOU ALL. If we were in America we'd have had to sell the house for all the treatment he's needed to stay alive 16 years after end stage kidney failure. He's still fighting πŸ’™
Huge thanks to all the NHS staff who are doing their best to keep the health service going despite having 10% fewer staff than we’re meant to have. We see what you do, and couldn’t be more grateful πŸ’™

Penrhos was created as a nature reserve in the early 1970s . The then Prince Charles actually officially opened Penrhos as a nature reserve ,local People and visitors alike have walked around taking in the #beauty and wildlife enjoying the #tranquillity of the #woods and the #beaches truly enjoying #nature but now Penrhos is under threat! There is planning permission to destroy this beautiful haven and make it another generic holiday camp β€œwith all mod cons”at The huge cost of destroying acres of land that is home to some of our rarest #wildlife ! You can still oppose the planning application if you believe nature deserves a chance ! #SavePenrhos #AchubPenrhos @ProtectTheWild_ @WildJustice_org @domdyer70 @BenGoldsmith @michaelastracha πŸ“Έ David Jones and Shirley Blease ,

White-winged Black Tern with ID assistance from local DBO expert TYVM πŸ˜‡ Dungeness RSPB. Slowed down clip shows why they are so hard to track with a camera! Bonuses of Little Gull and 2 Little Stints were very welcome too

I took my mum to the drs to pick up her prescription. She wanted to make an appointment. Receptionist told her to make an appointment online. I piped up "under the NHS contract, you can also do it for her". The air went cold. She icily replied, yes she could the triage. 1

How would the wheelchair users who would have been tipped over and potentially trapped under their very heavy power chairs have managed, I wonder. Probably ok if they had the actual wheelchair space designed for this scenario but they are often FULL OF LUGGAGE INSTEAD πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
Thinking of our train colleagues at Southern Rail.
