This is Clerkenwell Road, one of London’s busiest cycling routes, yet there’s no safe cycling infrastructure. Cyclists forced to squeeze between pedestrians & traffic, with no dedicated space. The demand to cycle is there. Now we need streets that make it safe to do so. 🚲

Bank Junction on a Thursday morning. This is what it is actually like when the @CityPolice aren’t doing one of their pointless performative sting operations on cyclists because they are over-resourced and over-funded.

London’s newest cycle lane: Shaftesbury Avenue. We’re busy expanding our network of Cycleways across the capital to make it safer for people to travel by bike. And cycling has soared, now there are an average 1.5m bike journeys every day. 🚲📈🚲📈🚲📈🚲📈🚲📈🚲📈

Encouraging people not to drive to a train station is a positive. Of course, this is depicted as a 'war on motorists'.

Hammersmith Bridge is going to be preserved as a brilliant Active Travel bridge. LBHF will not seek funding from the government for full restoration to motor vehicles Nobody will ever drive a car on it again 😊 It’s over 🎉

“Buying whatever vehicle we like, and driving it wherever and whenever we please without having to think about the consequences for other people, has become normalised and ingrained across our society over decades.” Drivers are mainly psychopaths theguardian.com/world/2026/j…

Cycle lanes evidently need to be widened and proper dividers put in place, eg on King Street. Thank-you for highlighting this and for your ongoing campaign for safer cycling.

It won't come as a surprise to many, but good to see The Times saying that people actually like less traffic in local neighbourhoods. Concluding no big change is ever introduced without some initial opposition - so leaders should stick to their guns! thetimes.com/comment/colu...

That’s not a car. It’s a lethal weapon.
Here is a driver crossing C9 while huffing a balloon. If your concern is cyclist safety, what difference would you expect cycle infrastructure to make to risk posed by such a driver at a junction?

While you were sleeping… Between 3–5am in the morning, before the tube opens, tens of thousands of Londoners are already commuting to and from work. Who are they? the-londoner.co.uk/meet-lond…

I would absolutely love to see @AlexanderEhmann doing a performative stunt with his cargo bike to demonstrate to everybody in @LBRUT how accessible the new cycle parking hub is at Richmond station.
They are all standing proudly outside the new Richmond cycle hub. What an achievement you might think. What a commitment to cycling in a Borough that loves SUVs. Until you see the only access to the bike parking 👇 and then it all makes sense again. Bravo lads 👌
