Coherence is the new taste
Agree with this. Humans recognise effort, whether that is in learning a craft, the production process, material sourcing. The less human effort, the less perceived value. Hand made became a luxury signifier in the machine age, in part, because mass production became distasteful.

As a product builder, the advantage I still have over models is context prioritization, memory mgmt as well as maintaining coherence against a set of product building principles… so maybe the harnesses I’m comparing myself too just need to be better 🙃

Seems like everyone’s building the same product from different starting points: - define tasks from a vision or initiative - delegate them to agents - monitor the status - observe how they executed the tasks - give feedback on the output

This is really exciting. Getting traditional LLMs to produce structured outputs always felt a bit like a hack. So this could be a big unlock for using AI in production.
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

New: Coding sessions on mobile Keep work moving from the Linear mobile app. Review code changes, comment on specific lines, and send feedback directly to the agent.

we're launching BUZZ! a new groupchat platform for teams of people and agents of all sizes, built to reduce our dependency on slack and github. model-agnostic, decentralized, self-sovereign, and open source. 🐝 buzz.xyz

Don’t write Ruby unless you already know C. Don’t write C unless you know assembly. Don’t write assembly unless you can literally see the Matrix
Don’t vibe code if you don’t already know how to code. That’s like using AI to do advanced calculus when you don’t know how to do 3rd grade math.

Can somebody on the Google slides team please add character spacing as an option? This would 10x the visual design of slides

The best engineers don't write the most code. They delete the most code. The best managers don't make the most decisions. They eliminate the most decisions. Seniority is subtraction.

It’s funny, when I was early on in my career, the debate side of design and product killed me. Now it fuels me. It feels like the actual work.
