Kate Brain shares insights from behavioural research about the value of including the patient & public voice in trial design and delivery, showing 3 examples of co-designed approaches:
👉cancer symptom help-seeking
👉lung screening & smoking cessation
👉prostate cancer risk awareness
and the recommendations for including diverse voices:
👉diversify research methods
👉decentralise trials and studies
👉address pre-conceptions

A pleasure to join @yorkshirecancer to discuss with Chancellor @RachelReevesMP how important it is to have integrated stop smoking intervention within lung cancer screening programmes, and to maintain funding for stop smoking services across the board
It was a pleasure to welcome Chancellor @RachelReevesMP to the Leeds Lung Health Check this week.
The Chancellor saw first-hand the importance of early diagnosis and the benefits of making screening accessible within the community.
