Europe keeps asking how to regulate AI. Jensen Huang just told Chancellor Merz it's asking the wrong question first: "There's nothing to regulate if the industry doesn't thrive." It seems Europe's real problem may not be regulation. It's that there isn't enough industry to regulate yet. Europe needs to accelerate.

No shit. The Manhattan Project and the 1960/ Space Race weren’t profitable either….but you know what? They were deemed necessary for national security. AI/robotics will be no different. If you believe the government will back stop AI, then you buy every big dip and accept that there will be large boom & bust cycles…but the long term trajectory is ☝️up and to the 👉right.
“.. At the moment, we have more compute capacity than we have demand, and we have a lot of the tokens and processing power being given away in freemium solutions,” he told @CNBC. “Everyone in the AI race is running for a last-man standing position.” cnbc.com/2026/10/19/gartner-…

SpaceXAI engineer, David Gan: "I set up four Grok Bots for customer support. One of them, Tune, works on improving the system. When an answer was missing, I approved the rule. Tune updated the FAQ, and Reply retried using the new source." I turned his correction loop into one prompt you can paste into Grok Bot Missing Answer → Your Approval → Updated Knowledge → Retry → Sourced Answer You're wasting your time explaining the same correction in five different chats One approved update gives the next answer a source your bot can check Bookmark the prompt and use it the next time Grok Bot needs a correction Then read the full guide to setting up Grok Bot in the article below ↓

This looks like a must-read! "Rethinking Innovation: How Knowledge-Sharing Organizations Are Shaping the Twenty-First Century" by Josh Lerner and Jean Tirole. amzn.to/4i2J9tp "Innovation is more important than ever, yet breakthroughs are becoming harder to achieve. Modern technologies, from artificial intelligence and 5G networks to biotech, are so complex that they require collaboration across companies, industries, and countries. Increasingly, firms are discovering that sharing knowledge can be more powerful, and more profitable, than guarding it. In Rethinking Innovation, distinguished economists Josh Lerner and Jean Tirole examine ways that corporations have embraced the sharing of knowledge as a competitive strategy. Open-source software, for example, has seen multibillion-dollar public offerings and shifting business strategies, producing high-profile disputes over what openness actually entails. Across high-tech industries, new forms of knowledge-sharing are transforming how companies develop and exploit new technologies. Lerner and Tirole explore three key organizational structures that make this collaboration possible: patent pools, which bundle essential patents and make them available to firms seeking to license them; standard-setting organizations, where companies agree on common technical templates and commit to making related patents available on fair terms; and open-source communities, in which users share innovations freely with others." Erik Brynjolfsson: "From semiconductors to artificial intelligence, progress increasingly depends not just on brilliant ideas, but on the complementary assets and institutions needed to turn them into real-world impact. In Rethinking Innovation, Josh Lerner and Jean Tirole brilliantly illuminate the knowledge-sharing organizations that make this possible. This superb book also helps explain why innovation so often follows a J-curve, with the biggest gains arriving only after the right complements and structures are in place." amzn.to/4i2J9tp

someone just mapped out a full multi-agent trading system spec and made it public. every agent has one job. every output is typed and structured. every failure is traceable to a specific layer. this is what institutional AI trading infrastructure looks like in the article below

AI agents represent a platform shift, much like mobile did in the early 2010s. Much like companies mandating “mobile-first” back then, apps now need to provide agentic entrypoints to all of their capabilities in order to survive.
the more i play with AI agents the less i ever want to open any other app to do anything ever again

The Nasdaq broke decisively below key support at its 50-day SMA and 65-day EMA on heavy volume Friday afternoon. The S&P 500 held up somewhat better, closing below its 50-day SMA but above its 65-day EMA. Small caps continued to lead the market lower, with the Russell 2000 closing at yet another lower low to end the week. The Dow held up best among the four major indexes, but its relative strength matters less given the broader deterioration. Breadth continued to weaken, with 143 new highs versus 460 new lows on Friday. Not only did the major indexes finally break down, but many leaders across traditional growth sectors also succumbed to selling pressure late last week. Defensive groups—including oil and gas, miners, and utilities—led the market Friday. A smaller group of leaders in biotech, restaurants, insurance, and specialty retail continues to show relative strength. However, if selling pressure persists across traditional growth leadership, the major indexes will likely face further downside pressure next week. I was finally forced back to cash and will remain there until the market provides sufficient evidence that taking long exposure is warranted again. No one knows how long that will take, so there’s no reason to rush. For now, cash is king. Keep running your screens, maintain your watch lists, and stay prepared. When the market begins to improve, you want to be ready—not scrambling to catch up.

✍️Level Up On Stablecoins. 👀What's the playbook? @SentoraHQ, builders of @Firelightfi (available on @FlareNetworks), were asked to assist with ~2 dozen stablecoins. @Ripple $RLUSD is *one of only three* they said "Yes" to. Sentora CEO and co-founder Anthony DeMartino argues that launching a stablecoin is essentially starting a bank, which requires high capital, supporting infrastructure or an ecosystem, and a clear way to monetize it. Most projects that lack these elements or raise only small amounts do not make sense as standalone products. 👉He stresses that the profitable path is purpose-built stablecoins tied to real commercial use cases that unlock features making the issuing institution more profitable, *such as remittance companies.* RLUSD fits the criteria. Stablecoins that come with established payments and enterprise infrastructure can generate the kind of embedded utility and yield opportunities he describes as necessary. 📺youtu.be/Nl9MmpXE_Ho?si=poH2…

this is f*cking insane... SpaceXAI engineers aren't just building AI agents they're building an entire engineering team that runs itself here's how the system works: Chief of Staff routes the work Engineering Lead breaks it into tasks Engineer Bots build in parallel Verification catches failures before they ship Skills turn repeated mistakes into rules the agents can't ignore the goal isn't to make one agent smarter it's to make the entire team work without you babysitting every task inside SpaceXAI, Grok Bot already accounts for a double-digit percentage of merged PRs, according to its engineers you set the goal. agents do the work. you keep control of the decisions that matter. most people are still prompting bots. SpaceXAI is building systems that manage them. read how to build your own 20-agent Grok Bot team below ↓

Nubank founder & CEO David Vélez nailed it: Blockbuster had a huge amount of data, but it never captured it or used it. Netflix came in with no data and still built a better algorithm. The moat was never the data. It's the systems and the culture to use it.

CLAUDE CODE CAN NOW CALL YOUR PHONE WHEN IT NEEDS A DECISION Claude Code + a voice-call API, set up in about 5 minutes you leave your desk the agent stops and waits for your answer nothing moves until you are back this creator gives Claude Code a phone number → the creator asks Claude to call them → the phone rings a few seconds later → the creator talks through the changes → the call ends, Claude Code keeps working the changes are for a landing page the brief: keep the Apple style vibe and come up with something new for the homepage setup, as shown in the video → a Claude Code subscription → a Bland API key, a voice-call API → paste a prompt with your number and key → 30 seconds later Claude calls to test it → then it sets up a skill to call anyone also in the video → works with Codex and Grok Bot too (the creator says) → an automation: every day at 9 it checks GitHub, Slack, Linear and email → it calls you if something is wrong and it is the creator's own demo, so none of it is independently tested

Not everybody wants to be an entrepreneur. Not everybody loves work. Not everybody can upskill. Also, a lot of folks in tech have made their skills their entire identity (the "Rust guy", the "TypeScript guy"). Same with designers, marketers, etc. Personally, I love learning, creating things, solving challenges. Whatever that may be. I hope AI doesn't rob me of that. I also think us "tech bros" should have a bit of humility: humans are generally not great at predicting. We may be completely wrong.
Generational level of cope going on right now by software engineers that AI has not affected them, is not affecting them, and will not ever affect them
