Grateful to share this article I wrote with some incredible authors for School Library Journal/Teen Librarian Toolbox about new (and newish) books that represent a world dealing with wildfires. These incredible books are full of urgency, adventure, friendship, truth, and hope.

Happy bookday to SPARK! Thankful to everyone who made this book real and in the world! A love letter to our environment, wildlife, and the people who care for our world- most of all to anyone- especially the young and young at heart who find hope after trauma & turn into action!
