A farm which runs an egg honesty box in Maynooth in Co. Kildare, have taken to social media to upload a video of thieves taking a number of trays of eggs without paying for them.
Dunne's Farm Pastured Eggs took to social media to make people aware of the thieves and post said the following:
"This week on
“People pretending to be honest”
"2 more vermin who have been hitting us quite regularly. But this time we have the proof.
"We know you live in Clonee and only we are to busy to call and on you and collect either the money or claim the produce back…..
"I bet your husband will be mortified when he sees this🤭
"We think ah good shaming is in order!
"In fact the daughters egg carrying ability is worthy of a job!
We would be thankful if you shared so we could get a name for these two.
"They aren’t welcome back at Dunne’s farm and be sure to remind them if you see them🕵️
"For the record…
When we post these videos,
"We’re not looking for pity, sympathy or anything of the sort.
"We run a farm, we work hard, and unfortunately there will always be a certain type of people who think it’s perfectly acceptable to take what doesn’t belong to them.
"We just happen to believe that in a fair and honest world, dishonest behaviour should have consequences — and sometimes a little public embarrassment is one of them".

A woman has told how her teenage son has been left with i noperable scoliosis after hopes of surgery were dashed.
Paddy Murphy 0' Connor (16), from Headford, Co Galway, was born with spina bifida and now has a 100-degree curve that has impacted his ribcage.
"Paddy's ribcage is rotated because of his curve which in turn leads him to not being able to breathe properly,"' his mother Megan Murphy said.
She was speaking after the death last month of nine-year-old Harvey Morrison Sherratt from Clondalkin, Dublin, who also had spina bifida and scoliosis, but waited nearly three years for surgery.
"We believe that if intervention was made at an earlier stage he would possibly have had risk-free surgery," Ms Murphy said.
"He now lives with a 100-degree curve that will progress over time. The only positive is that he is at the end of his own growing stage so it will progress slightly slower."

Harvey Morrison (9) [RIP] waited over three years for scoliosis surgery, and by the time of the surgery at the end of 2024, his curvature had reached 130 degrees. He sadly passed away on July 29 2025

There have to be consequences.
“by the end of this year (2017) no child will wait longer for a scoliosis procedure than 4 months”. - Simon Harris
Listen to Harvey's Dad @Stephen63224725 on our health system that failed his son. May he rest in peace.

Why was my child left on an urgent waitlist for 4 years then removed . Why was her scoliosis left to progress to 80 degrees without any intervention. Why were we blocked from funding go abroad ?
Public inquiry please

A gentle reminder - “by the end of this year (2017) no child will wait longer for a scoliosis procedure than 4 months”. Aug 2018 and children continue to languish on lists. Do you still feel ashamed @SimonHarrisTD ?

@SimonHarrisTD has essentially had himself written out of the scoliosis inquiry.
Convenient, isnt it? When accountability comes knocking, he seems to have made sure he wont be answering the door.
What an incredibly brave individual.

Simon Harris, who appointed himself Minister for Finance earlier this year, has never had a job of any kind outside of politics.
He has zero academic qualifications beyond his leaving cert. He started two different college courses but dropped out twice.
He has never been self-employed. Never started a business, never created a job, never had to worry about covering payroll or paid a penny in VAT.
Now he runs our economy.
But how does that happen?
Simon is in the job he's in because he's exceptionally good at playing politics.
He managed to climb the Fine Gael ladder all the way to the top.
But it would leave you wondering - is there any other job in which a person's complete lack of any relevant education, skills, training, work experience or track record would be set aside?
Simon was democratically elected so he is entitled to be where he is. But is Ireland really best served by giving top jobs to people with no knowledge of what they're doing?
The upcoming budget will be a great example.
Simon will use our money to buy votes for those from traditional Fine Gael income brackets - and absolutely stick the boot into those who come from areas, social backgrounds and age brackets from whom he has nothing to gain.
Decisions won't be made on the basis of what's best for the people of Ireland. We've a pure politician in charge. Simon will make decisions on the basis of what's best for Simon.

419 days since Harvey passed away.
752 days since we found out he had been removed from the scoliosis list
And still, after all this time, we have no answers.
Who ?
When ?
Why ?
My child was removed from a surgical waiting list without our concent.
How is that acceptable?
Got a notification on here to let me know it had was my X anniversary. Three years ago I started this page and shared the video so many people remember. The video of Harvey struggling to breathe.
That same day I rang the General Manager in CHI temple street in desperation, that day I said to her that CHI and their lack of treatment was killing my child. That was the point where they linked him to the surgeon who would later (allegedly) remove Harvey from the spinal waiting list and declare him ‘not fit for a sneeze’.
It would be another 13 months from that video before Harvey would get his surgery.
Then he lived for just 8 more months.
This is the legacy of CHI.
There are still children under the care of the same surgeon who did that to Harvey, and it seems this government have no urgency or desire to ensure those children don’t suffer the same fate.

One year ago today, I stood in front of Taoiseach Micheál Martin and begged him to help my daughter.
I can still remember exactly how that felt.
I was exhausted, emotional and desperate. I had spent so long watching Katie suffer, fighting for answers, chasing appointments and trying to get somebody to listen that I felt like I had nowhere else left to turn.
So I stood there as her mother and asked the Taoiseach to help her.
Not because I wanted attention.
Not because I wanted special treatment.
Because I was terrified that Katie would simply be left to keep suffering if I didn’t keep pushing.
That day was not about politics for me.
It was about my daughter.
It was about watching someone I love live in pain every single day and feeling completely powerless unless I kept fighting.
And somehow, 12 months later, I am still fighting.
A year of emails, phone calls, delays, stress, uncertainty and sleepless nights.
We have now secured funding for Katie’s surgery in Florida, and I am incredibly grateful for that.
But the surgery is only one part of this journey.
Katie’s fundraising has been ongoing for the last four years, and the money raised has been used throughout that time to get her the care and support she needs when we simply cannot wait for services.
That has included private physiotherapy, counselling, mobility aids, specialist equipment and other essential supports.
After surgery, those needs will become even greater.
Katie will need long-term private physiotherapy, counselling, occupational therapy if we need to access it privately, specialist equipment, mobility support and whatever else is needed to give her the best possible recovery.
Her fundraising will also help with our living expenses while we are in Florida, the bills that will still have to be paid at home, and the financial impact of Pat being away from work while he helps care for Katie.
The operation may be funded, but Katie’s recovery is not.
And now we are waiting and hoping to hear from Dr Paley soon so we can finally know what comes next and start planning properly.
After everything it has taken to get this far, I am not giving up now.
I have fought too hard.
Katie has endured too much.
And we are too close.
If you can donate, even a few euro, or simply share her fundraiser, you are helping us make sure Katie has the support she needs before, during and long after surgery.
