There’s a book I’ve carried with me for years: The Toyota Way. One chapter is about walking the floor. In the early days in Japan, the owners of the factories would not talk to the people on the floor. They tried to solve problems they never saw. So they started to walk the floor. Go there, see what is going on, see the struggles.

I told @Jobvo that talking to investors was going to be a huge waste of time. We had launched the first version of @Remote in August 2019. It was very much a landing page. And we started to get such big traction that Job was asking me, "Should we talk to investors? Should we take the call?" I'm a builder - so I thought let's build this as much as we possibly can and then we'll see what comes out of it.

Our engineers were already the heaviest AI users at @Remote in January. Their usage still grew 33x, and they're still more than half of all our AI usage. That's exactly what you'd want to see.
