$ETH turns 10 at the end of the month. It’s fascinating to think how far we’ve come since then. To celebrate this monumental anniversary I’ve dug up some lore-filled memories from the vault -> 🧵

what if, instead of hating on data centers, we realised that:
1. ai is not going away
2. it’s creating *more* jobs over time (esp blue collar) and will create new job sectors, higher salaries, economic prosperity etc
3. states that adopt data centers can reduce taxes for their residents, increase spending on state-wide infrastructure (schools, hospitals etc)
4. data centers do not consume copious amounts of water. it’s all recycled. your local golf course uses 10x more water.
you're going to see a huge data center and AI renaissance over the next year. the out-right hatred people have for them is founded on baseless "facts" that just aren't true:
- datacenters do not use much water. your local In-n-out uses more water.
- AI isn't replacing jobs, its creating them.
- data centers pay states a huge some of money in the form of taxes and subsidies which are being fed directly into the local residents pockets in the form of schools, new hospitals, better infrastructure etc
- power/energy bills *aren't* going up as data center's cover the costs. in states where thats not happening that should change soon.
we're talking about the biggest industrial revolution since factories. its imperative we win this.
pretty sure the glasses are staying on from now on. Excited to be working on something new!
Thanks @JolyOnChain and the whole team at @Flight3official for having me!
every industry leader I've asked in the last 6 months has named the same meta to chase
@Jennasis just made it unanimous
full Between Us episode with the 5x founder now inside CoinFund is live, and she doesn't hold back
"most VCs aren't qualified to give founders advice" (her words, said from years of industry experience)
capital allocation, reading decks, business models that dont exist and technical jargon - conceptually, ai could take over all of these areas, but will it?
has the industry made anyhting valueable enough for you want to want to pay to be a member of? Jenna brought an alternative view that crypto has worked the other way, with airdrops and free money leading to nil retention and an all too familar result
Chapters:
00:09 The privilege of failure
01:11 Will AI agents replace capital allocators?
02:54 Is crypto drunk on airdrops?
05:28 Why most VCs aren't qualified to give advice
07:48 The bifurcation of venture capital
10:38 Privacy and freedom in 2036

wdyt on the airdrop point, necessary bootstrapping or free money that bought us nothing
Can’t wait for the full episode @JolyOnChain ! Thanks for having me what fun
crypto VC is dead
at least that's the timeline take
so I put it to @Jennasis prev @coinfund_io, the fund that backed Ethereum, Polkadot and Dapper Labs before any of it was obvious
(she also smashes ironmans in her spare time, casual)
new Between Us episode. we got into
> is crypto VC dead as we know it
> is revenue the only meta in town
> how funds actually differentiate to win the best deal flow
my take on the deployment drought: the hope premium is gone and VCs got stuck in high FDV low float positions with zero liquidity. that forced the reset. meanwhile the founders winning right now are building without a token at all
wdyt, broke model or broke pipeline
@Flight3official
If you don’t measure commute time in “number of @LimitlessFT episodes” then what are you actually doing
AI Memory stocks have been the best-performing asset class of 2026, so far averaging a 550% price increase in <12 months... but it gets better:
$DRAM launched 30 days ago... giving investors exposure to the top 3 memory stocks.
It's already up 100%, making it the #1 fastest-growing ETF of all-time with $6 billion of inflows.
this begs the question: why are memory stocks exploding.. and are we too late to invest?
We unpacked all of this and more in todays episode 👇
.@SamEwen asks @reidhoffman what his bitcoin exit price is.
His answer: “there’s an exit price?”

personal pride moment: after this weekend’s success, I’m now a category 1/2/3 bike racer!
… for those who don’t know, this is a really big deal. Thanks @usacycling
It's only been a few months and the learning curve from luddite -> active claude user is STEEP let me tell you
yet again, visualization wins the day. This graphic makes what giza is doing *real* to non-technical audiences - we can share this with other investors, upcoming talent, senior executives - and they will all understand to a certain extent what's going on.
Big congrats to the whole team at @gizatechxyz for the release their new product Giza World.
I was given the opportunity to turn their dataset of more than 16.000 active agents, performing more than 800.000 transactions, into a living data sculpture.
Kind of mind-blowing to experience the end result, knowing that each movement of each individual particle is backed by real, on-chain, transactions.
The crazy thing about this OpenAI vs. Anthropic Weaponization deal is that the only difference was who is responsible for the *outcome* of the *use* of the AI model. OF COURSE the DoW can't tell Anthropic what it's going to do in advance. OpenAI shouldn't be skewered for that.
There is an important visualization story to be told here. Beyond product demos, visualizations like this help companies like @gizatechxyz express what the technology is *actually doing* rather than the “how”. More of this please
I’m proud to be backing generational entrepreneurs leading categories at @coinfund.
thanks so much as always to @TheTieIO for having me and putting on a great show in denver!
"What's the difference between a narrative and a real category?"
That was the question driving our first panel at InnovateDenver.
@coltonconley (@Arrington_Cap) led @Jennasis (@coinfund), @sheynk (@further), @AlpenSheth (@borderless_cap), and @Ray_scale (@Grayscale)through a conversation on building discipline in an industry that rewards chaos.
Capital allocation, hiring, roadmap focus. The stuff that compounds.

This new product from @lifiprotocol lets you compose any multi-chain DeFi workflow into a single transaction. Amazing foresight from the team.
