you're going to see a huge data center and AI renaissance over the next year. the out-right hatred people have for them is founded on baseless "facts" that just aren't true: - datacenters do not use much water. your local In-n-out uses more water. - AI isn't replacing jobs, its creating them. - data centers pay states a huge some of money in the form of taxes and subsidies which are being fed directly into the local residents pockets in the form of schools, new hospitals, better infrastructure etc - power/energy bills *aren't* going up as data center's cover the costs. in states where thats not happening that should change soon. we're talking about the biggest industrial revolution since factories. its imperative we win this.
