I've been working on a new project the last few months to share with my arts and comedy friends: Artists Make Money, a podcast where I interview all sorts of artists about how they make their money, how they feel about it and what they do with it. The first 5 are out NOW:

I can't help but think it should be Prof Sarah Gilbert, the actual expert overseeing the Oxford team who developed the vaccine, whose face features in these announcements. #womeninSTEM
It is truly fantastic news - and a triumph for British science - that the @UniofOxford /@AstraZeneca vaccine has been approved for use. We will now move to vaccinate as many people as quickly as possible.

Regulator doesn't agree with Health Secretary shocker. Matt Hancock: “Because we’ve left the EU, we’ve been able to move faster." Dr June Raine, MHRA boss: “We’ve been able to authorise supply of this vaccine under provisions under European law which exist until January 1st.”

Hey! 7pm I'm reading my very own horror stories on Twitch! Tonight it is a horrible little number I like to call "The Shufflers". It's really weird and gross, and I'm very proud of it. Come listen at 7pm! twitch.tv/jongracey #Streamtober #TheShufflers

John Lewis asked The NYT to publish this on the day of his funeral. It is necessary reading. He writes, “When you see something that is not right, you must say something ... Democracy is not a state. It is an act, and each generation must do its part.” nytimes.com/2020/07/30/opini…

Ask yourself, in years to come, do you want to take your kids to the theatre, or a Wetherspoons that used to be a theatre?

From Guardian, letter from Andy Stuart of Rye E Sussex: "I suggest Bristol replaces Edward Colston w a different statue every day to honour an individual whom Colston “shipped”. It would be 233 years before plinth became empty again. That is the enormity of the man’s inhumanity."

10 years ago we generated 40% of out electricity through coal ⚡. And today we have hit 2 months without using it at all 💚. This is a major milestone on our journey to a cleaner, greener, future. Important we now push on so we can get to 100% clean generation all the time.

Racism is real, just because you don't experience it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen, it does! I have experienced more racism in 5 yrs working in the food/TV industry than in my whole life and its time to call it out! #SpeakOut #RacismMustStop

My appearance on @BBCnewsnight yesterday reminded me that racism convos are weakened by gaps in our information. Ideally, we would all leave school with a basic awareness of Britain's leading role in the oppression of black and brown people. But we're a long way from this 1/7
