The so-called "Progressive" Left will see the riots in France and see virtue in it, the same way they saw virtue in the George Floyd riots, the 2011 England riots and the 1992 LA riots It is an ideology of decay, disassembly and disorder which claims to represent the "common man" while cheering on masked hoodlums destroying communities, harassing hard working citizens and burning down innocent business ran by families. Common voters want safe streets, criminals prosecuted, cultural stability. The way the Leftist intelligentsia refuses to hear these demands of voters will and does cause right-wing backlashes and you will see that in France next year as the most right-wing government in decades stands a very good chance of sweeping into power. The Left rarely listens to the wishes and beliefs of the people they claim to represent.
