Even if delinquent foreigners cause riots across all of Japan, the police won't lift a finger. If citizens clash with delinquent foreigners, the police will side with the foreigners and arrest the citizens.

She said without laughing, with her keffiyeh in balaclava mode, her “state crime” t-shirt for October 17, 1961, and her Algerian flag.

🇫🇷 1,500 shopkeepers were "directly affected" by the violence that occurred in several cities across the country, on the sidelines of the demonstrations on Saturday, October 17. Some were attacked.
Another testament from a business owner who lost her entire world. Here we're talking about Alain Lee (originally Huang), aged 50. Second or third generation immigrant from China. She speaks perfect French with a perfect Parisian accent. She bought this small restaurant in the 10th arrondissement seven years ago from an elderly Jewish man of Algerian origin (named R. Hanouna). Alain recounts that around 2:30 PM, when they saw the street turning dangerous, they lowered all the iron shutters and stayed inside. Within a short time, they heard powerful blows, and the shutters were lifted from all directions. The rioters (there were 6 or 7 of them) smashed the windows until they broke them and beat her until she lost consciousness (note the bandage over her right eye). She claims what surprised her was that the first one to enter the restaurant was a 12-year-old boy, followed by a group of young girls with shopping bags. They looted everything that could be looted, smashed everything, and set it on fire.
