Happy birthday to my Mayor, @JMafume ,Jacob Mafume, fellow September baby. Have a fantabulous day filled with jollifications and chilled liquids of a mildly intoxicating nature.💃🏽💃🏽🎺🎺🕺🏽🍻🍺

So, I parked along Inezz Terrace, facing the Ximex parking lot, and paid for three hours of parking. I returned after about two hours, only to find two tickets on my car: one with a US$20 penalty for car washing and another with a US$50 penalty for disposing of litter in a public place. When I enquired with the parking attendant, I was told that someone had been washing my car and had been apprehended by the council police. However, the problem is that I never authorised or asked anyone to wash my car. I then approached the council police for clarification. Apart from being rude, they told me that it was not within their jurisdiction to disclose or properly document the identity of the person they claimed they had caught washing my car. I made several unsuccessful attempts to appeal the fines through senior staff at Trafalgar Parking’s headquarters. In the end, I lost more than US$70 over an offence that I did not commit, authorise or consent to. What is particularly frustrating is that I was not even able to pay the tickets at the same location. I was directed to another payment point all the way outside the CBD. It is sad that vehicle owners are held responsible for the actions of someone they never hired or authorised to wash their car. @JMafume @gama_stanley @cityofharare2

1/3 Two months ago, the Mayor of Harare @JMafume promised that these structures along Kwayedza High School in Gazaland, Highfield, would be demolished within 24 hours. Unfortunately, that promise appears to have remained just that a promise. @daddyhope @begottensun

Congratulations, @FlyAirZimbabwe, on this exciting milestone! We can’t wait to welcome your maiden flight to @Gatwick_Airport soon. Wishing you every success on this new journey.

Post just to acknowledge @JMafume He takes feedback and resolves some of the issues sometimes. City of Harare patched the potholes they had filled up with mud in the CBD. The problem with filling potholes with mud is that apart from dust blowing all over the place, when rains start, the mud will be washed into and block storm water drains.

This is Harare yesterday morning. A burst underground pipe at the intersection of Samora Machel and Julius Nyerere in Harare. And we want to get to 2030 in this nonsense? #SunganoyeVanhu–#UbumbanoLomphakathi #ThePeoplesCoalition

Since the introduction of smart metering, I have been monitoring quality of their water. Visual inspection. Its improving @JMafume. Keep improving inwike
