1/2 Good morning Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. Morgan Tsvangirai understood leadership. He knew that the national interest was bigger than personal differences. Yes, people may have disagreed, criticised each other or even exchanged harsh words, but Tsvangirai was focused on the bigger picture,

A recap, Minister of Twerking Tatenda @TateMavetera and her group of overzealous ama 2k singing 'Mupanduki chera mwena nguva yakwana' at the National Hero's Acre. If they were not directing it to General Chiwenga, then who else?. Hanzi imbwa inoroverwa payaitira tsvina!
Replying to @zimlive
ICT minister Tatenda Mavetera, leader of the Young Women 4 ED, led a choir of Mnangagwa praise singers, singing: “Mupanduki mupanduki chera mwena nguva yakwana (Sellout sellout dig a hole, the time has come)” - in apparent reference to Chiwenga.

Our police officers need to be retrained. Zimbabwe Republic Police @PoliceZimbabwe , why is this happening to Citizens?.
Hi Crime Watch. My story goes like this. Yesterday I boarded a bus at ZBC going to Nyatsime. Ndaitobvawo kubasa nditori nemhuri yangu but ndakashungurudzwa neZRP paBoka. So when we are going to Nyatsime, we pass through Boka area just after Trabablas interchange. Driver webhazi stopped there to let passengers get off the bus. During that process a police officer came into the bus saying that he is impounding the bus. The bus driver was told to drive to Boka police station. When we arrived, several passengers including me were forced into the charge office. I was badly beaten by one of the officers who I later identified as the Officer-in-charge. I was charged with touting and disorderly conduct. I was then placed in handcuffs and the same officer started stepping on the handcuffs to make sure I was in pain. So from yesterday I was placed in the cells with others only to be released today at 5 pm. The admission of guilt receipt said I was charged with touting. While I was in the cells, no police officer wanted to take responsibility to issue us with the admission of guilt receipts. They ended up vakungokandirana nyaya yekuti sei muri kuti vanhu ava vane mhosva idzi yet mavatora mubus? The other question was sei musina kunyora nzvimbo yaitikira nyaya and they started threatening each other kuti zvamuri kuita ndezvebasa here or muchirikuda basa here? I have my ticket and pictures showing my injuries from the handcuffs akakonzerwa nekutsikwa kwaiitwa maHand cuffs naofficer in charge wepaBoka. @PoliceZimbabwe

Understanding political dynamics is not the same as endorsing Chiwenga. Is it Criminal to analyse cracks within ZANU-PF without running into anyone’s arms. Not every political disagreement is an endorsement & not every internal fight should be ignored. Politics requires analysis.
Don’t run from Mnangagwa straight into Chiwenga’s arms and call it freedom. Yesterday’s enemy doesn’t become a hero because he fights your enemy today. Remember the past, question every leader. Zimbos never learn.

This was the ROAD when he assumed the SADC Chairmanship, & this is still the ROAD as he assumes the COMESA Chairmanship! Under the able leadership of Emmerson Mnangagwa, we are exporting leadership excellence while importing potholes! Iwe Woshora! 😂😂 #RestoreConstitutionalism

THE ARREST OF BITI AND NCUBE — JUSTICE DELAYED, DISSENT SUPPRESSED? 1/8 Their acquittal of @cdfzim Convener @BitiTendai and Morgan Ncube must not end the conversation. We must ask why they were arrested in the first place, and what that arrest was meant to achieve.

7/8 The contradiction is glaring, a system that professes constitutionalism must be prepared to tolerate dissent, criticism & peaceful mobilisation. Constitutionalism is not demonstrated by quoting the Constitution when convenient

8/8 The withdrawal of charges is welcome, but accountability cannot end there. Zimbabweans deserve answers about the arrests, the restrictions and the treatment of those opposing CAA3.The Constitution belongs to the people, not to those who hold public office. #Constitutionalism

Fair enough, Chiwenga included. But their fights can expose cracks within the system that we can analyse and use to advance the demand for democratic change. The question remains, beyond waiting for them to fight, what practical steps can we take to achieve a democratic Zimbabwe?
Replying to @LeaderGeneral1
Chiwenga included.Let their fights escalate there. They are the authors of our suffering.

That’s my point, Mukoma.

Mukoma, you are missing my point.I asked for practical solutions beyond identifying the problems we already know. Free & fair elections an independent judiciary, ZEC & media are necessary, but how do we achieve them under the current system? That’s the discussion I’m inviting. 😀
Replying to @LeaderGeneral1
This is deflection bamnini. We must never be driven by emotions on such matters.I am merely questioning the honesty and genuineness of the Vice-President. His push is noted and very much welcome but my point is has he changed or seeking genuine change. For example if he ends up as President tomorrow, is he going to throw away CAA3 and hold free and fair elections in 2028?. Our desperation to see the back of Mnangagwa should not create a monster worse than we already have. The solution to Zimbabwean problems is free , fair and credible elections , an independent judiciary and ZEC and media.
