IT IS MAD - There is no statutory duty of care in HE Bristol successfully argued they didn't have D of C May 2022. The judge said if there was 1 they would have been in breach IT IS MAD - This law has not been passed before It is so overdue The excuses are frankly bollocks

A privilege and an honour to speak last night in Parliament in memory of Oskar Carrick who died by suicide two years ago in his halls of residence at uni. I wholeheartedly support his parents' campaign for universities to have a statutory duty of care for their students.

Its not hostile to hold institutions to account for collective failings. The sector continues to highlight its resistance to learn from past mistakes and remains defensive. Our children's lives were not anecdotes.
