Shamrock Rovers fans tonight unfurl a banner, criticising the FAI board for fulfilling the two Israel fixtures.
“Your cowardice will never be forgotten.
Horrible, shameless and unfit for the job.”
“I’m proud of him, that he’s had the courage and the bravery to stand by what he believes." 👏
"I’m extremely proud of him to show that bravery and courage and character."
"I think it shows what type of man he is" 💚

Our three goals from tonight's famous win over England ⚽️
3-1 Vs England is certainly the tonic we all needed. Unreal work from the young lads. Let's hope it stays this way.

After a very bruising couple of weeks, this is very good news for football in Ireland. Evidently a vote of confidence from government in FAI and clubs' handling of initial investment.

The Budget is set to include an additional €1 million for League of Ireland academies bringing the total allocation to around €4 million.
An extra €1 million will be provided to the Gaelic Players Association (GPA).
Thank you to everyone who sent us messages like this over the last few days 💚
Was a horrible window but we decided there was only one way we wanted to cover it.
It will be good to move on from this in November, but let's not forget it. 🤝

Think Heimir's talk of "raising awareness" is bollocks but there is admittedly something to every non-political Irish player, Irish fan, football fan etc becoming aware of Israeli society for exactly what it is by witnessing their despicable behaviour in these shameful games.
Nothing is beneath these scumbags

Update: A member of the Irish backroom staff alleges he was spat at by an Israeli player at half time here between Ireland and Israel. Serbian security and police were right beside the incident.

Kicking off here at half time between Ireland and Israel. Allegations from Irish staff towards an Israeli could be heard inside the stadium. Referee comes over and tells everyone to “be clever”

🗣️"THEY HAVE A PROPAGANDA MACHINE DENYING WHAT THEIR STATE ARE DOING TO THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE"
🗣️"THE IRISH MEDIA SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO BE THERE. WE SHOULDN'T BE PLAYING THE MATCH!"
Brian Kerr reacts to chaotic scenes in which Heimir Hallgrimsson's pre-match press conference had to be cut short after an Israeli reporter accused the Irish players of racially abusing the Israel players in last weekend's 3-0 win.

FAI staff did what they could/maybe had to here but it again shows why we shouldn't be playing these games. Their national team is largely shite, outside the top 70 in the world for 9+ years now. The football is almost inconsequential compared to the propaganda and psyop.
Ireland's pre-match press conference before tomorrow's Nations League match with Israel ended abruptly, after an Israeli journalist made an accusation of racism against the Irish players that FAI press officer Kieran Crowley called "completely untrue" | Full story: rte.ie/sport/soccer/2026/100…
