Really reinforces that when Munster matches are moved from Thomond Park, they're stripped of their usual heritage and importance. This is only bad luck to an extent. They've paid the price for gowling around, at a time when heritage is about all they have left.

Trust the FAI to make the biggest decision in the history of the association by running a vote with a squad featuring 10 players with between 0 and 5 caps (avg 2.3) Some of those lads absolutely voted against the game, but the outcome isn't the point. The method was ridiculous.

Heimir Hallgrímsson said he has spoken to all Ireland players individually and, despite differences of opinion & strength of opinions, none feel comfortable playing the games [v Israel] but they want to represent the county as best they can and want to stick together.
