BREAKING MAJOR RESCUE OPERATION UNDERWAY OF THE NORTHWEST OF IRELAND
A major search and rescue operation is underway of the northwest coast of Ireland around the center of #stormboelo this evening following distress calls from big Russian tanker carrying diesel.
The UK Coastguard is coordinating a response to an Inmarsat-C Distress Alert from vessel MYRA.
This potentially one of the Russian ships heading to the USA with Diesel . I hope there is no leaks as it would be a environmental disaster.
The Irish air corps and Coastguard don't have the capabilities to provide cover due to the range the tanker is out
𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 & 𝗦𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧
Given the extreme distance from mainland coastal stations (beyond typical shore-based rotary SAR operational radius without offshore refueling) and current sea states, direct surface intervention by coastal rescue craft is technically constrained.
Standard Search and Rescue protocol in this scenario relies on:Alerting nearby commercial traffic via GMDSS broadcast.Deploying long-range fixed-wing maritime patrol aircraft (such as RAF P-8A Poseidon) for top-cover monitoring and communications relay if required.
This rescue operation is ongoing as off 20:57

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
A distress alert from tanker MYRA led UK Coastguard to alert nearby vessels for assistance but no major rescue was underway; the ship continued sailing and trackers reported it in ballast (empty), not carrying diesel, en route to Egypt.

Think diaspora would become immediately important when and if Scotland restores independence and makes changes
That process was witnessed nearby in Ireland and is continuing & ongoing

Therefore:
For Scotland
The issue is uncontrolled migrant movements within UK when country next to us has over 62 million residents

It's a UKgov responsibilty that created population mess of UK obvs
They control immigration
Perhaps SG should change their core messaging but they are a branch of UKgov with zero powers
Scotland issues no passports and visas very rarely only as part of UK schemes (Ukraine)
Colonial life: 🏴
Masters in the south got pretty damn excited + overcaffeinated at propsect of increased economic energy plunder from the plantations + seas around Scotland
Goldrush fever
Discussed amongst themselves

Halloween has its origins in part in the Celtic festival of Samhain.
Don't stockpile water in SCOTLAND 🏴
According to The Brits scaremongering advices
That is entirely stupid. Will go stale and be a mess of microplastics
We can get water. Stockpile a few containers if anything

An independent Scotland with own immigration rules would seek to attract specific people it wanted to emigrate here
Probably skilled, productive, young.
Replying to @IndigoFast @h5wnft4xdr
We know that is true because of marked decrease in primary school rolls many areas of Scotland
Particularly rural

Which is alright if new people move to Scotland permanently raising new generations of family & children
That's not always the people we get though
Guess the others might be described as 'colonialists' or migrants

Yeah
Big decrease in Scotland born population
Scotland overall population will have increased
But not by people born in Scotland

UK has been terribly governed for many decades
Now life is so bad large numbers are seeking to relocate to Scotland for better life + social services
Whilst I don't mind that if constructively arranged. It's a worry what becomes of the locals who built this nation patiently
