The only reason why Bengaluru thrives is because by and large Kannadigas have live and let live attitude. Other communities cannot fathom this culture and hence resort to calling Kannadigas docile. Good or bad, we are like this.

80% of the State budget fund of Bihar comes from Central tax distribution/grants & for UP it is around 60% whereas for karnataka it's only 25% . Karnataka is one of the most self reliant states in the country.
